It costs the same on Aliexpress, about 129, I do not understand why you need 8A, if the price is the same. It is possible that when these smartphones get to the official physical stores in Russia, the price will already be noticeably different.

We see that Redmi 8 takes pictures slightly better, it has a dual main camera, but the second sensor is a depth sensor, apparently there are differences in the camera manufacturer or in processing algorithms, no matter how you look at it, but there is a difference. By the way, you can put a Google camera on both of these smartphones and improve the quality of photos a bit.

To sum it up, there is no sense to take the 8A model, because the regular 8 is almost the same, a penny more expensive, but gives you more features and a slightly better camera. I think the choice is obvious.

I did a review on the Redmi Note 8, you can read. The Note line is a bird of higher flight, it is those smartphones, which take practical people for several years to come. They are distinguished by their excellent price/quality ratio, and it is not for nothing that these smartphones have been the market leaders for several years. On Aliexpress, for the basic 4/64GB version start at 151. over, here, unlike previous smartphones, there are already much more differences between the simple Note 8 and its Pro version.

The display has a diagonal of 6.3 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 (FullHD), and the Snapdragon 665 chipset (11 nanometers), which shows acceptable heat dissipation and energy efficiency. But the difference between the older model in this parameter is not very big, but about that will be below.

There are several memory versions to choose from, 4/64GB, 6/64GB or 6/128GB. The main camera with 4 lenses: 48 megapixels f/1.8 8 MP f/2.2 2 MP f/2.4 2 MP f/2.4, a 4000 mAh battery with 18 watts of fast charging.

Pricing for this smartphone has not yet settled, the manufacturer is asking for it 215, while the hawkers at Ali are selling it from 260. If you take into account such prices, it is better to add 20-25 and get Xiaomi Mi 9T. When the price drops to an adequate level, for example, 220 then Note 8 Pro will be a great option for its money.
