Transfer Files From Android To Computer

This article provides tips for transferring contacts, photos, music, documents, and other data from your Android device to your new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Use the Transfer to iOS program to automatically transfer content from your Android device to your new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If this is not possible, manually transfer the contents.

Mail, contacts and calendars

IPhone, iPad, or iPod touch software works with a variety of email services, including Google, Microsoft Exchange, and Yahoo. Therefore, you will most likely be able to save your inbox, contacts, and calendars currently in use. First add each of your email accounts to your device. Then go to the Settings menu “Passwords and accounts.”

Photos ands

To transfer photos ands from an Android device to an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you need a computer. Follow these steps.

  1. Connect your Android device to your computer and find your photos ands. On most devices, these files are located in the DCIM folder “Camera”. If you are using a Mac, install Android File Transfer, open it and go to the DCIM folder Camera
  2. Select the photos ands that you want to transfer, and drag them to a folder on your computer.
  3. Disconnect your Android device from your computer and connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
  4. On Mac with macOS Catalina, open Finder. On a Mac with macOS Mojave or earlier, or on a Windows computer, open iTunes. Use your computer to sync photos to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. On your device, your photos ands will be available in the Photos program “Albums.”

You can also use iCloud Photos to store photos ands in iCloud. In this case, your library will be available from any device and at any time.

Music

You can transfer all your music to your new iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. To do this, use a computer. If you use the program to stream music, download it from the App Store. Then log in to your account with a username and password. If you have an Apple Music subscription, just log in to your account on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Transfer Files From Android To Computer

To transfer music from an Android device to an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you need a computer. Follow these steps.

  1. Connect your Android device to your computer and find your music. On most devices, these files are located in the Music folder. If you are using a Mac, install the Android File Transfer program, open it and go to the Music menu.
  2. Select the songs you want to transfer and drag them to a folder on your computer.
  3. Disconnect your Android device from your computer and connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
  4. On a Mac with macOS Mojave 10.14 or earlier, or on a Windows computer, open iTunes and go to the “Songs” section. On a Mac with macOS Catalina 10.15, open the Music app.
  5. Open the folder in which the songs are stored and drag them to the “Songs” section of the “Music” program or to the iTunes library.
  6. Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and click Music. You can synchronize the entire library or just the songs or artists that have just been added.
  7. Click Sync. On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, your music will be available in the Music app.

Books and PDFs

To transfer e-books from your Android device, import them to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, or open them using a program such as Kindle, Nook, or Google Play Books. To open books using the program, download it from the App Store. Then log in to your account with a username and password.

To transfer ePub books and PDF files from your Android device to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you need a computer. Follow these steps.

  1. Connect your Android device to your computer and find your books and PDF files. On most devices, these files are located in the Documents folder. If you are using a Mac, install Android File Transfer, open it and go to the Documents menu.
  2. Select the books and PDFs you want to transfer, and drag them to a folder on your computer.
  3. Unplug your Android device and connect your iPhone.
  4. On a Mac, drag books and PDFs to the Books app. On a Windows computer, drag books and PDF files to iTunes.
  5. On Mac with macOS Catalina, open Finder. On a Mac with macOS Mojave 10.14 or earlier, or on a Windows computer, open iTunes and sync ePub books and PDF files. EPub books and PDFs will be available in the Books app on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch “Library”.

Documentation

If your documents are stored in the cloud or in another service, such as Dropbox, Google Drive, or Microsoft OneDrive, download the desired program from the App Store and then log in to your account. In addition, you can collect all your files together using the “Files” program.

Wherever you store files. on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, in iCloud Drive or in another service (such as Dropbox or Box). now you have the ability to view, search and organize them in a single space.

Pages, Numbers, and Keynote support several file types, including Microsoft Office documents. If the cloud is not used to transfer documents, download the necessary programs by following these steps.
