Xiaomi soap dispenser doesn’t work

Automatic dispenser Xiaomi Mijia MJXSJ01XW: review and a couple of tips for use

Hello, everyone who stopped by. The talk in the review will be, as you have probably already guessed, about a rather interesting automatic dispenser Xiaomi Mijia MJXSJ01XW, equipped with a foam micro-pump and IR sensor, which reacts in a quarter of a second and gives a certain dose of already foamy “air” soap. There is also information on refilling the soap reservoir. If you’re interested, welcome.

Packaging:

The Xiaomi Mijia MJXSJ01XW Automatic Dispenser comes in a double cardboard box, one of which is shipping:

The inner box is made in light colors, which is typical for most Xiaomi devices:

There are brief specs on the end, including the model name:

The instructions are brief, and that all in Chinese:

Recall that this is a “lightweight” version without the liquid soap and four AA batteries ZMI.

Appearance:

Automatic dispenser Xiaomi Mijia MJXSJ01XW is made in a traditional for the company minimalist design, but despite this, it looks very stylish and will become a decoration of any bathroom. In fact, this is the second version of the Xiaomi dispenser:

The dispenser consists of two main parts: the dispenser and a container for liquid soap. Since in the review version without liquid soap and batteries, the capacity is empty:

Although I have to be honest, the soap smells great. It should be noted that the “full” set is a little more expensive, but prohibited for shipment by some shipping companies, so the Chinese simply drain the soap and take out the batteries to avoid problems.

The complete set (ZMI soap batteries) with guaranteed delivery to Russia and Kazakhstan can be purchased here

There’s also a special 2019 “Dove Men Care Edition” with Dove branded soap, but it costs a little more:

The body of the dispenser is made of white matte plastic, so it easily fits into any interior:

There is a touch button on the top panel, which is illuminated when the device is in operation:

Operation is simple, a single touch turns the dispenser on and off. The main “highlight” is the automatic operation of the dispenser, and all thanks to the infrared sensor hidden under the “spout”:

You just have to put your hand to the “spout” and in a quarter of a second the dispenser will immediately give out a portion of foaming soap:

The foaming base is obtained thanks to a patented pump that creates a foam with a gas-to-liquid ratio of 12:1.

As for the design, it is worth noting that the dispenser integrates an electric motor, which is used in many cosmetology devices. At 7,000 rpm, the motor runs almost silently (noise level is within 40 dB), so the device won’t distract your housemates:

Additionally, the pipette has a very low power consumption. Power is supplied by four AA cells (fingers). Both 1.2V NiMH batteries and 1.5V salt/alkali batteries will fit:

The batteries are located under a special bar, which opens by slightly turning around its axis:

Four AA batteries will last approximately 9 months of use.

The second structural element is the container for the liquid soap. In my case, it is empty, but it is covered with a lid just in case:

There is a kind of valve cover under the main cover:

It includes a soap tube, a pressure equalizing hole (“sopun”) and a special recess:

The tight latches on the valve cap make it a tight fit which leads to problems when refilling the battery. According to the manufacturer’s idea, users should discard used up containers and install new ones. This is what the Chinese do, but the Russian ingenuity considered it a waste, so a little know-how on refueling see below.

The container is inserted into the dispenser and secured with a small twist. After that you can use the dispenser:

Dimensions:

The dimensions of the dispenser are 190mm98mm:

Filling:

Since the existence of this model it has been invented a lot of ways to fill the soap reservoir. There are as generally trivial, such as drilling a small hole followed by machining the edges from burrs, and after refilling. sealing the hole with tape or duct tape. The method is simple and working.

Slightly more complicated. drilling a large hole and plugging it with a rubberized flat lid or a cuff. Compared to the previous one, it allows you to pour the soap through the funnel.

I did not reinvent the wheel, since the valve-cap, though it sits quite tightly, but it is still removable. It is difficult to remove it because of these stops and two protrusions that do not allow it to rotate around its axis:

If you received the dispenser with the valve cover installed, as in my case, then to remove it, arm yourself with a flat-tipped screwdriver, plastic spatulas and a regular hair dryer (or a heat gun).

A set of plastic spatulas, which I use all the time to open cases neatly, can be seen here

Next you need to warm it up a little and pick it up with a screwdriver. The 4 grooves around the perimeter of the valve cover will help:

Stops easily squeezed with plastic spatulas or the same screwdriver:

If you heat this part (at the neck) up a little with a hair dryer, it is very easy to remove.

If you still broke it, not a problem, but it is still not worth tilting the dispenser. Alternatively, you can buy spare soap containers here

After that we buy liquid soap-foam or foam soap and just pour it into a container. It is important to remember that this dispenser is designed specifically to work with bubble soap. Of course, you can also use regular liquid soap, but then the output will be just a trickle, not foam.

I use Grass Milana soap in a 5L canister:

Such a liter is economically advantageous compared to liter bottles and there is no overpayment for a manual dispenser. Pour it in, you can dilute it with water in a 4 to 1 ratio, set it up, and rejoice in the result:

Demonstration of the work:

For options with soap and batteries and the 2019 version with Dove soap, see the “Appearance” section.

Conclusions:

The bottom line: The dispenser is high quality, has a nice appearance, works fine in automatic mode and with the “right” soap dispenses metered foam at the output. Not unimportant is the possibility of refilling, which is especially important, because consumables are not so cheap. as we would like. At the same time I have not found any disadvantages, so I can safely recommend to buy.

Automatic dispenser for liquid soap Xiaomi Mijia (MJXSJ01XW)

Good day to you all! Today I will try to fully explain the new automatic dispenser from Xiaomi. This unit was purchased for use in the bathroom for a quick hand wash after the toilet. In addition to a quick and non-contact application process, the dispenser “whips up” the soap solution, t.At the output we get a gentle foamy substance.

Appearance

Dispenser comes in a white cardboard box, typical of the current devices Xiaomi and Mija. There is a full size picture of the unit on the front and in the corner is the time it takes to deliver the detergent. On the back are the technical specifications of the dispenser and a description of the soap solution included in the kit (something with lotus).

Icon on the side of the box depicts the major benefits of this model. Listed here are:

  • After 0.25 seconds the liquid is dispensed
  • Comfortable and non-irritating
  • Easy fluid change
  • Foaming ratio 12:1
  • Splash-proof
  • Powerful pump

The specifications are identical to the last model, t.No key changes other than design.

The delivery set includes the dispenser, 4 x AA batteries, a bottle with soap solution and instructions for use.

Signature AA-size alkaline batteries from the ZMI sub-brand. They come with 50% of the products Xiaomi, keep the charge excellent, there have never been any complaints about them.

The instructions are entirely in Chinese, but contain graphic pictures with a clear guide that even a child will understand.

The container with the factory soap is a typical 320 ml plastic barrel. Naturally, there is a lot of information on the package about how great, antibacterial and good-smelling the soap is. After using it, your hands feel like baby hands and all wrinkles disappear from your face.

There’s a neck on top of the tank with a removable lid. Under the rubber cover. two holes. One serves to transfer the solution to the dispenser, the other for air. The numeric code next to it is the expiration date of the soap, t.and you have to use it tentatively until October 2020. As I wrote earlier, the lid is removable, so there is no problem with changing the solution, you just need to dilute the soap with water. Dilute it all differently (1:1, 1:5, 1:12), it depends on the quality of the soap and human requirements.

The automatic dispenser is made of white matte plastic, which is easy to clean. The shape and design is reminiscent of the new kettles and thermophones from Xiaomi. Looks very concise, fits perfectly into any interior.

On top there is touch on/off button with Mija logo. The button lights up white when you turn it on, and red when you turn it off. Also the light indicator turns on every time you feed the solution.

Underneath the outboard “spout” there is a feeding tube and an infrared sensor, which makes it work automatically. The sensor triggers at a distance of 7-10 cm to the hand.

At the bottom there is a valve for the liquid soap and the hole for air intake into the system. Next to the painted technical specifications, but this time with an indication of the system capacity and degree of protection from external factors.

To get to the battery compartment, you must turn the cover counterclockwise as indicated by the lock icon.

Then remove the lid, install the batteries according to polarity and snap the lid back on. If you have done everything correctly, after pressing the power button the pump will jiggle. Battery life, according to the manufacturer, 9 months (if you use the dispenser up to 8 times a day). In reality it would be 6 months of stable operation, which is very good for an electronic device in a humid environment.

Complete device and detailed dimensions.

In operation

Connect the tank with the dispenser by twisting it and place it on a flat surface. When the infrared sensor notices an object in its area, it signals to turn on the pump, after which a small amount of soapy foam is produced. This foamy substance is enough to properly soap and wash your hands. No discomfort in the process, everything is very fast and convenient. The only frustrating thing about this realm of laziness is turning on the water faucet.

I put the dispenser on the mirror, so as not to drop it accidentally while cleaning the apartment. If I had a sink, I would put it on, but alas, I have to make do with what I have.

Conclusion:

In the end we have an excellent automatic dispenser with an attractive, laconic design, which, unlike many of its counterparts, converts the soap solution into foam. On the plus side we can also mention long battery life and low consumption of liquid soap due to foaming.

To buy the dispenser (without batteries and soap in the tank) can be found in this store

Hello all! For over half a year in our house has lived (and almost continuously works) a great dispenser for liquid soap from Xiaomi. Looking ahead to say. We are 100% satisfied with it! Well, for the rest read below)

Information from the manufacturer:

The automatic soap dispenser Xiaomi Mijia MJXSJ01XW has an infrared sensor and a special design for foaming soap. At the end you get the airy foam. Just put your hand to the device and the soft foam is in the palm of your hand. The main feature of the device is the economical use of the product, thanks to its pre-foaming. Also, once the soap is used up, you can pour into the original container of washing-up liquid (pre-diluted with water, to obtain lather). The gadget body is made of hypoallergenic ABS-plastic. The liquid soap supplied in the kit has an optimal Ph characteristic and it contains natural-based oils. The product does not dry your hands, but instead moisturizes and softens your skin.

Accessories

dispenser, 4xAA batteries, soap solution container, instructions for use

Material. ABS plastic

Dimensions, mm 73x98x190

Weight of the product, 540 g

Dispenser capacity, 320 ml

The working principle of the dispenser is simple. Fill it with soap, turn the top button on and that’s it. The dispenser will automatically give you a portion of carefully whipped foam every time you bring your hand to the spout. nothing to say. I use it for kitchen soap and it’s just a miracle: when your hands are greasy and dirty while cooking, and you do not need to touch anything (except the faucet, of course) to wash them. Hence the first plus. The use of the dispenser is simple and hygienic!

The second plus, at least for me. The appearance of the gadget itself: it looks simple and at the same time stylish;

The third plus. Thanks to the dispenser, even the most “liquid-nickel” soap is used very economically;

The fourth plus for those who have children. it is fun to catch the foam from the dispenser, because your hands are washed more often (which is especially important during the pandemic);

On the downside, I would include: when filling the soap dispenser to open a special plug (below I will show you everything), and here this very plug is attached so tightly that every time I’m afraid to damage it. But the dispenser has been working for more than six months and while the three times (ugh) nothing has broken, so I will not give any lower grade for it.

Well, now I’ll tell you step by step how to replace the soap in the dispenser yourself:

    We take the dispenser and unscrew the top part (with a spout);

    Now let’s take ANY liquid soap (I have the easiest one from Fix) and pour it into a container not more than 1/3. In this case, the thicker your soap, the less it is needed;

Warning! The plug closes very firmly, with a click. In one place on the plug there is a slot in which to enter the protrusion on the bottle. aim carefully first, only then snap it into place, so as not to break anything.

That’s it. Then you screw on the top, turn it on and use it

Here I will leave a short video to show the sound of the dispenser:

Dispenser for liquid soap Xiaomi Mijia Automatic Foam Soap Dispenser I recommend! Great gizmo for home: modern laconic design, very easy to use, saves soap, makes kids happy and encourages them to wash their hands more often

I’m not a fan of Xiaomi, but I consider myself quite an active user. phone, fitness bracelet, we recently got a robot vacuum cleaner and a dispenser for liquid soap from this brand (or a subsidiary, not that important, all the same Xiaomi in fact).

About the dispenser and want to tell today.

We got it spontaneously and generally by accident when we were buying a vacuum cleaner. Just before it broke our last dispenser Dettol, to which all used to several years. Well, really, it is very convenient. bring your hand and get a portion of soap, no need to press anywhere, no need to rub a piece of soap (which is especially fun after walks with children, when they are in the sand, mud).

The place of purchase. IM foxpox

, You can get it in the player for 1500, but there’s at least 300 shipping. That’s what it comes out to be.

Well, first of all, it’s Xiaomi. The brand I already trust, more than two years I walk with their phone, a year with a bracelet, phones of half the family the same manufacturer. Xiaomi knows how to make tech, smart, sophisticated.

Secondly, it is beautiful) Plastic, white, with a transparent container for soap cylinder, nothing more

It is controlled by one touch button on the top. When you turn it on, it flashes white, when you turn it off orange (I could not take a picture, my camera is slow, I am lazy)

Powered by 4 AA batteries, which are included in the set initially. The manufacturer promises that the device will work for a long time, not even for a month, with these batteries.

Well, we’ll see, so far we have a month, with a daily wash hands 4 people, many times a day, have already refilled the soap twice, so far the flight is normal.

What is very cool about this model. bottom part. This is a compartment for soap, on which the entire structure stands

If the last dispenser was easy to destroy, pouring a lot of water under it. everything is fine in this regard, it stands quietly on the sink, and even my water lovers who can wash something in the sink by themselves (sometimes terrifying me with this). Dispenser from Xiaomi brains will not be spoiled.

For they are in the upper part, the batteries can be changed here, for example

And here is the spout for soap. foam! and the sensor

If there is no more soap in the container. You can buy a new container of soap for about 800 (AAAA. ), or fill it in yourself. Of course it is not very convenient to pour the soap, but it is possible. The lid has 4 snaps, if you pick them up one by one, for example with a knife, it comes off

Of course, if only there was a thread. It would be a lot more convenient, but it’s not bad at all. You can pour 320 ml of liquid at a time.

When filling a liquid soap must be diluted with water, I will not say the exact proportions, but the thicker the soap will be. the thicker the foam gets. If with the soap from the manufacturer the foam was quite thick and steep, my husband added more water when refilling. and now the foam comes out light, weightless, very delicate

Ah, that foam. I used to make soap foam for my little girl from the grated soap. and how she happily washed her hands with these bubbles! My son was luckier. He didn’t have to ask me or wait, he reached out his hand. and through 0.25 seconds (which is how long it takes for the dispenser to work). it has a full palm of fragrant foam (the palm in the photo is mine, but my son is doing just as well)))

That amount of soap is more than enough to wash their hands properly, but the kids like the foam, and the process of extracting it, that often one portion is not enough. That’s why in about a month wasted more than two containers of soap.

By the way, the soap that pours the manufacturer, is claimed to be antibacterial. It was kind of promised a citrus scent, but in fact the hands after it smelled awful of some chemicals. And it so badly dried my hands, just restored cream, which I now love, that the skin began to mercilessly flake and crack, just and on the joints. Brrrrr. I’m so glad it’s over.

The dispenser comes in a pretty neat little white box, all the signs are in Chinese

The instruction also in Chinese, at least how to bring the device and wash their hands. pictures)

I am very pleased with this purchase, dispenser for soap Xiaomi thing convenient, beautiful, practical, and very stylish. The only drawback might be the price, but that doesn‘t mean that cheaper options are any better.

How I was almost disappointed by Xiaomi

A word of warning. creepy story. Blood chilling.

Long story short, during my next wanderings through the endless expanses of Aliexpress I came across an electric soap dispenser from Xiaomi. And I just wanted one for a long time: well, I do not like to press the hand dispenser for regular liquid soap, besides it comes in a concentrated form. it’s just not interesting and there’s no harmony in the soul. I wanted something smart, electric, to bring my hand, and then bop. and soap was poured into it, and already whipped, so that my highness does not strain, and have time to solve world problems or think about Schopenhauer, soap in the drawbar his horse.

Ordered it, it arrived. The box is nice, nothing was foreboding.

The lid can be removed (you turn it) and the liquid soap is poured inside.

The dispenser needs batteries (not included) and a lid.

Well, everything is ready. Beautiful, useful in a household thing. I was in anticipation.

Took the lid off the container, poured the liquid soap all over it, put it back. Prepared a bottle of champagne for the first launch of the dispenser.

I put my hand to it and it quacks unintelligibly and gives me a bar of soap which can only wash one finger. And that’s it. pinkie. And not all of it, just a phalanx.

“Ale, what the hell.”? I say politely and begin to explore the device: maybe there is somewhere you can change the portion size? No, you can’t change it anywhere, the device is as simple as two kopecks: you put your hand up, you get a portion. But it’s tiny!

Fixing a Faulty Xiaomi Mijia Soap Dispenser

And I came to my frustration. First time I was so disappointed by Xiaomi, they usually have household devices (and not only them). very good quality and they work like they’re supposed to.

What am I supposed to write about it now?? I can not recommend it, the device is particularly stingy, soap almost does not give out. All I can do is curse and moan about how cruel the world is.

But, thank God, it came to me that it is still necessary to read the instructions. It’s in Chinese, of course, but I’ve been working with the Chinese for so long that I can tell the difference between “Patience” and “Understanding” at a glance.

I went to study. And right, it says in Chinese in white: fill the container with a quarter of the liquid soap and top up the rest with water.

Poured three-quarters of the soap, refilled with water and. Everything worked as it should, I attach the video report!

Thank God everything ended well. Because I was almost disappointed in Xiaomi! But no, they’re still going strong! Rebooted.

The moral is obvious! Read the instructions, kids and adults, when something doesn‘t work right! It’s pretty much a no-brainer!

Xiaomi Youpin soap wall dispenser with display: full review and disassembly

Relatively recently on AliExpress there is a very interesting device once belonging to a sub-brand Xiaomi c crowdfunding site Youpin. This is a wall dispenser or foaming soap dispenser with display and Type-C connector for recharging. How much better and smarter it is than conventional electronic soap dispensers? Let’s look at this review.

By the way, don’t forget to subscribe to my Telegram channel TechnoReview, Where new items from Xiaomi interesting tools and discounts with promo codes appear the fastest! For those who are not comfortable with the cart there is TechnoReview VK community. Let’s go!

Video review can be seen at the link. here

Where did I buy?

Features

  • Type: wall-mounted automatic dispenser
  • features: display, Type-C connector
  • Tank capacity: 280ml
  • Battery capacity: 1200 mAh
  • dimensions: 160x120x62.5
  • weight: 360 grams

Unpacking

On the front of the box is a colorful printing of the device itself. The dispenser is presented in black on one side and white on the other. I got it in white, since there were no black ones available at the time I ordered it.

On the side edge of the box are the main specifications, namely, the battery capacity is 1200 mAh, charging via USB Type-C cable, and the liquid soap reservoir capacity is 280 ml. On the bottom edge of the box you can see the size and weight of the dispenser.

In the box is the dispenser itself, a small manual and a base for attaching to the wall with 3M adhesive tape. The Type-C cable did not come with it. As noted, in some cases, the dispenser comes with a cable, and the attachment becomes a few suction cups on the back of the device. The Yopin crowdfunding site.

Review and setup

A big plus of the wall-mounted dispenser is that, unlike the usual soap foaming machine, which stands on the sink, it does not form a wet soap solution in the place of installation. Also, regular dispensers are usually battery-powered. This one also has a built-in rechargeable battery.

The visual effect of the big screen looks pretty cool and adds some technology to the device. In fact, it’s a little display which shows you the battery level, temperature in Celsius and Fahrenheit and the status of the dispenser.

It is controlled by a single button located directly under the sensor. A single press of the button brings up the display of the remaining battery level. A double-click toggles the temperature reading between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Long button holding turns on and off the foam.

The surprise was the sensor, which requires not just bring your hand to it, but also a direct touch, which is not so much fun especially in times of pandemic. Probably tried to guard against accidental actuation when interacting with the button. On the other hand the button could have been put on the side of the device, but the manufacturer decided to make everything in accordance with fancy features.

At the top there is a hole for liquid soap, closed by a thick rubber cap, which is removed with a great effort. On the side is the connector Type-C for charging, which to protect some rubber cap did not bother.

Disassembly

The almost unprotected case and the screws open to the eye immediately gave me the idea to disassemble this Chinese thing. The more so because while experimenting with tastes of liquid soap it got inside the dispenser and the button stopped working.

After disassembling the device I was surprised that the holes for mounting it on the wall form three large gaps in the body, through which it would be easy to get water, liquid soap and moisture. The holes were simply taped over with duct tape. After drying the components, I saw a simple structure consisting of a soap drum, a pump with a hose, a button board with a sensor and a display board. On the side is the battery. All components are connected via loops, which allows you to easily remove them from the case if necessary.

Despite the design flaws, cheap plastic and a very distant relationship with Xiaomi I really liked the device. Dispenser gives out a large good consistency of foam, unlike some other dispensers sub-brand Xiaomi. Certainly pleased with the wall mount. It’s really convenient, and looks more futuristic. The disadvantages are the complete lack of moisture protection, which can lead the dispenser to failure after just a few days of use. The issue can be solved with a good electrical tape and no longer fear that the components will get wet, but still this deficiency is a big minus. Also to the disadvantages can be attributed nothing closed connector for charging. In my case, it remained open. Don’t forget about the contact sensor, which can be tweaked, but I didn’t bother with that issue. The dispenser still works and makes me happy with foamed soap, which I now have no desire to give up in favor of liquid soap, much less regular soap. I have a great pair of mirrors, so despite the disadvantages I can really recommend this thing to buy. And that’s it. Write your opinion in the Комментарии и мнения владельцев. Good luck and good mood everyone. Bye.

Review: Touch dispenser for liquid soap Xiaomi Mijia Auto. Where’s the gadget and where’s the soap? Turns out to be close by.

I like minimalism when arranging my space. I used to use liquid soap in an ordinary soap dispenser from Ikea in the kitchen. Since the dispenser was a contact dispenser, it had to be pressed. The railing on which the hanging rack for household chemicals hung, periodically had to be tightened from time to time. Not very critical, but still kind of annoying.

We thought about it and decided to buy a touch-sensitive dispenser. They turned out to be a great many. The cost of these unpretentious gadgets was not insignificant. The choice was not made. The dimensions did not fit, the reviews were bad, in short, everything was in its place.

And by the bourgeois holiday of Valentine’s Day I got a surprise.

It must be said that the technique Xiaomi in the house is. It works properly, no complaints on the quality of workmanship or workmanship. Worthy copies. Now their regiment is full of newcomers.

The inscriptions on the box, dispenser, and instructions. All only in Chinese.

ONE plastic bottle with liquid soap, dispenser, instructions in Chinese, four AA batteries.

How to assemble this construction and use it is drawn in the instructions

On the reverse side of the dispenser by turning the lid,

We fill the holes with the batteries from the kit.Closing the lid.

Now do the steps from the picture with a container of soap,

The dispenser itself is made of quality. The plastic is odorless and very comfortable to hold. The size for my hanging shelf is just right.

There’s a button on the top of the soap dispenser. If it glows red. The sensor is locked. Soap won’t come out.

And here is the result of the work. You just need to bring your hands, the sensor works, the foam pours. The dose is quite large

The sensor on the dispenser is very sensitive. Not even immediately adapted. The sound of the work is quite quiet, the foam is light.

It’s like, “what more do you want, buster?” !? It’s not that simple.

At first I was happy with the surprise. But it quickly dawned on me that the container with the liquid we have to buy all the time, because it is a one-time thing. ♪ My joy is not so strong anymore ♪. And after I heard the acrid smell of soap, my husband was no longer glad that he made the surprise. But he did not give up.

Xiaomi, if found out, would be sad that against their “scrap” in the form of a one-time capacity of soap, found a “reception” in the form of o. The skilful hands of my husband, who turned a disposable container into a reusable one, while changing their soap. He didn’t drill a hole in the top of the container like others do, he just properly removes its lid (not easy). That way the container did not lose stiffness.

Ready to fill the soap dispenser must be diluted in the proportion of 30% soap, 70% water to form a foam.

Well, now it’s different. I like the “upgraded” dispenser better.

A touch-sensitive dispenser for the home. it is not an automatic washing machine, not a cell phone, not TV, but the thing is nice in every way. Aesthetically, functionally. It’s possible that a family member who doesn‘t really like to wash his hands will now do it with pleasure.

If you can do the same with a bottle of soap, or you are not worried about constantly buying this consumable, the dispenser Xiaomi Mijia Auto I recommend. If you don’t want to bother, look for another option.

Review: Touch dispenser for liquid soap Xiaomi Mijia Auto. Soap dispenser. The kids now love to wash their hands. Added 1.05.2021.

In the package I received everything unpacked. Soap reservoir, soap dispenser, and a carrying cap, but you can carry it all together. The instruction manual in Chinese, there was no time to watch video reviews, so I had to deal with the assembly process. I diluted the soap in the proportions of 40% soap and 60% water, usually recommend less soap, but the one I used foamed a little and it was not sorry.

The battery compartment took a long time to give in to me, but then I found out that you have to apply a little pressure and then it will open. The touch sensitive soap dispenser Xiaomi Mijia Auto is for me. You need to rotate the dispenser to open it by an arrow, I first tried to rotate it by the side where the open lock is drawn, but this turned out to be wrong.

Then it took a long time to dock the jar with the dispenser, and it turned out it was necessary to remove the rubber band on top, which is only necessary for transportation. This process I now repeat regularly when I need to pour new soap. This is done with a slight twist of the jar relative to the dispenser.

On top there is a touch button with the Xiaomi logo. The logo lights up white when you turn it on. Also the light turns on if you bring your hand to the dispenser. when the soap dispenser is dispensed. If your hand is very close to the dispenser and some of the soap stays on the dispenser. thereby blocking the proximity sensor, the logo will blink orange and the next bar of soap will not be dispensed. To get it working again. It’s enough to sweep the soap off with my hand.

And here’s how to fix the lid of the jar I do not really like. it just clicks into place and opening it each time I’m afraid it may crack. So far I’ve been able to do it a few times by picking it up gently with a knife. I think if I do not break the next few times. The clamps will loosen and it will open easier.

By the way, on sale there are already jars with detergent from Xiaomi, but as far as I understand they are disposable and in the network people offer different ways to use them, such as drilling a small hole, etc. п. So when choosing a device like this, it is better to think in advance how you will pour the soap. My version is more preferable for me, since I choose what to pour myself and it is allowed to do constructively.

All liked the use of the dispenser, especially the children. The little daughter now regularly produces her own foam when she washes herself in the basin and arranges a bubble bath, but gradually this passion passes.

The first soap began to cause irritation and I soon replaced it with other soap. Now I mix in proportions of 20% soap and 80% water, the proportions need to match the particular soap, usually it’s about 20-30%.

In the first month when the dispenser just appeared and the children have not yet played enough, the soap ran out quickly and ran out of not expensive batteries, the dispenser has 4 pieces of AA format (finger), so I decided to buy more expensive, to change less often.

To summarize, I can say that I have never regretted that I bought the touch sensitive dispenser for liquid soap Xiaomi, it looks good, all the guests like it, everyone is interested. where to buy one. While the flow of soap increased until the kids are playing with it, but it is really convenient to wash your hands with this dispenser. Works fast. Of the disadvantages only. Need to change the batteries once in a while.

Not even a year has passed before the dispenser broke. The results of use, I still recommend to pay attention to the model, which simply poured the detergent. In this one to pour it was uncomfortable. The lid was about to break but eventually the dispenser just stopped turning on.

Review: Touch dispenser for liquid soap Xiaomi Mijia Auto. and more soap foam please!

Greetings to all users and guests of the site Otzovik! In this review I will share with you my opinion about an interesting device from the company Xiaomi. It is an automatic dispenser for liquid soap, which not just dispenses liquid soap, but makes it into a foam, which makes washing your hands even more pleasant.

Not to say, of course, that’s a lot, but for our family lasts about 4 weeks with fairly frequent use. The manufacturer, however, claims that this dispenser is enough for 400 times of use for 50 days. But I think that these figures may vary, because the number of dispenser users in every family is different, so everything is individual.

The dispenser is sold both with and without the soap inside. Having read the reviews about the basic soap. I decided to order without. But in any case you need to know how to fill the soap dispenser. It takes 30% of any liquid soap and 70% of water. In such a proportion this dispenser will also save you the amount of liquid soap consumed. One squirt of foam is enough to adequately wash your hands. It also came with batteries, but I used my own. Dispenser requires 4 AA batteries. The manufacturer claims that their work will last for 9 months.

The dispenser is incredibly easy to use on a daily basis. At the top is a button which, when pressed for the first time, lights up white. which means the dispenser is on.

When you press it again it lights up orange. means off. In our house, it is always on. And in order to wash your hands, you just need to bring them to the dispenser, the sensor will work and will give out foam.

When the soap in the soap dispenser runs out. it can easily be refilled. To do this, unscrew the top part of the device from the bottom and open the lid of the container.

And now a small and unpleasant nuance. I have refilled the soap several times already and I can say that each time this cap really frightened me with its fragile appearance. The plastic is so thin and it can crack and the whole system will be destroyed. And then you would have to order a new container, which would also take 2 months to arrive. (at least the whole soap dispenser was not). So, in order to remove the cover, you need to take something like a small flat screwdriver and gently pry the cover all around with it.

During one of these soap changes there was a tiny crack on the lid, and frankly speaking, it was not fun at all.

BUT! We found a way out of this tense situation after all! Somewhere on YouTube at some very clever person we got the idea to drill a small hole in the top of the container to fill up the soap through it and leave the lid alone.

On the one hand yes, you will have to screw around a bit to fill up the soap and water with a syringe, but on the other hand you do not have to worry about the lid cracking during the next change of soap. The drilled hole can be closed with a small silicone insert which originally was included in the kit and just covered the lid of the container.

I often like to wash my hands, and this foam is even better. By the way, this thing is very interesting for children, especially when the child is naughty and does not want to go wash their hands. Once you say “let’s go wash our hands with foam” all the whims disappear at once, and the kid rushes into the bathroom with his hand stretched out to the dispenser 🙂 At least, that’s how it happens with us. In general, the invention is still cool! And I’m even thinking about whether to buy one in the kitchen to use under the dishwashing detergent. But I haven’t decided if it’s worth it yet?Thank you all for your attention to my opinion. I hope you liked my review and was useful 🙂
