How to unzip with a browser and online archivers on iPhone

If you do not want to install the application on your iPhone, you can use online services.

Of course, you can find free archivers in the App Store, but they will not boast of so many features (add to that the built-in purchases and a lot of advertising). Here you get several applications in one, and very, very high quality.

ZipApp

A very convenient application to open archives of different formats are supported even.7z.tar.gz and many others. You can get used to ZipApp in a couple of minutes: the interface is not cluttered up with unnecessary elements, still there is no Russian language support. Given Apple’s recent messages to international developers, it’s only a matter of time.

How to get started with it? Actually there are a lot of options. The first and most common one is to open an archive from an email application (for example, standard Mail) using ZipApp with a special popup window. Then you will be automatically redirected to this application, where the program will ask your permission to unzip. The procedure takes no more than five seconds, the files are available immediately and are located in a separate folder, which once again prevents confusion with the names.

I was pleased with the availability of a desktop web version: when you click on the button with the image of a Wi-Fi signal, the application will prompt you to enter it from a computer with a unique address, or to the ftp server. Tiny email files are mostly unzipped in the Files app. It can take a long time to decompress the entire contents of large zip archives.
