How it works?

The program uses mathematical algorithms for analyzing the audio signal to calculate the most likely notes used in the recorded melody. This process is called transcription or recognition notes. The melody should be sung or played on the instrument clearly, without strong extraneous noise. The program does not know how to identify and separate parts of simultaneously sounding instruments, and also to separate drums. Therefore, do not try to analyze a group recording or a complex audio composition using several tools. The result will contain many invalid notes. If you want to know the chords for a song, just try to sing the melody of this song and pick up notes and chords using our program.

Harmonic analysis of MIDI notes and chord selection going on ticks. Therefore, it is important that the tempo, size, and start of the first measure are correctly synchronized with the audio track. This is easy to do by recording a melody under the metronome.
