Xiaomi redmi AirDots headphones do not pair

Wireless headset operation is based on receiving data from the device through various data transfer methods. It can be a radio, infrared receiver, Bluetooth-connection. Xiaomi wireless headphones use the latter method, which is due to the ease and reliability of connection and ease of use.

To connect the Xiaomi Bluetooth headset, you need to turn it on and make a connection to the gadget. The process usually takes a few seconds, after which the headphones are ready to use.

The volume control is broken

If you don’t notice any damage, but you are sure that the problem is in the volume control, it is better to take your headphones to service

To check if the failure of an accessory is really due to a broken volume control, you need to disassemble it and examine it in detail:

Xiaomi Redmi Airdots Hard Reset and pairing

  • Using a screwdriver, unscrew the device.
  • Between its two halves, insert a knife and open the volume control.
  • Remove the board and examine it carefully. If a torn wire or several wires are found, solder them in place using a soldering iron, having previously cleaned and twisted the loose wires.

Often the failure is due to the fact that the slider, which moves inside the switch, is jerked too sharply. This leads to its rapid wear and tear of the wires from the contacts. Check the correctness of soldering all the wires to the board can be checked with a multimeter.

How to synchronize a pair of headphones Xiaomi AirDots

The accessory is not less convenient for sports, dancing and walking. Immediately after purchase you must connect the accessory to the phone. How to synchronize Xiaomi AirDots, read below.

Headphones AirDots do not synchronize What to do?

Services for repairing smartphone glitches, by our specialists, call or here, leave a request.

Wireless headphones AirDots have several problems related to pairing via Bluetooth. If in wired headsets the failure of one channel is associated with mechanical damage to the cable or contamination of the connector, then with wireless headsets, the cause can be a synchronization failure.

What to do if the headphones work separately

If Airdot still does not synchronize and connects to the phone as standalone devices, you need to roll back to the factory settings. This is the easiest procedure possible.

  • Remove the earmolds from the container.
  • Press the button (touch or mechanical).
  • Hold it for 30-50 seconds. The LEDs light up red and a double beep sounds.
  • Put them back in the case and remove them after a few seconds. If the white indicator blinks only on one, it means that the reset has helped and the synchronization was successful.
  • Connecting AirDots to a smartphone. Your phone will recognize the gadget as one device and the melody will come from two channels.
  • Turn on the phone Bluetooth;
  • Take the headset out of the case;
  • Press down on the outer sensor pads of both earphones until the white indicators light up and release;
  • The LED on the right will start to flash;
  • In the section of detected devices, the right earpiece “Mi AirDots Basic_R” (it is the main one) will be displayed, which itself will connect to the left one;

If the sound only comes from the right earphone, touch the touch area on the left earphone to connect the second earphone.

According to the manufacturer’s idea, when you take out both headphones, they should automatically connect to each other. First there is frequent blinking in both, then only on the right headset the LED pulsing slows down, this means it is ready for pairing.

We tell you what to do if one Xiaomi AirDots earphone works

Many users of popular wireless headphones Xiaomi Mi AirDots Youth Edition and Redmi AirDots (Mi Earbuds) often face the problem of sound loss in one of the headphones. The reason for this lies in the mechanism of operation of the headphones: they have the right earpiece connects to the left, picks it up, then already shows the signal readiness to pair with the phone. Sometimes, if you use the device incorrectly, try to turn it on empty, or for other reasons, it gets desynchronized. When one headphone can not detect the other.

A simple factory reset of the headphones helps solve the problem. The procedure is very simple.

First of all disconnect headphones from your phone. To do this, go to Settings on your smartphone, then go to the tab “Bluetooth”. In the list of paired devices, find the name of your headphones. If you have Mi AirDots they will be called “Mi AirDots BASIC_R”, if you have Redmi AirDots, respectively “Redmi AirDots BASIC_R”. Next, next to the name of your headphones click on the arrow and click on “Cancel pairing” (forget the device).

Next, to do a reset on the Xiaomi Mi AirDots, you need to take the headphones out of the case and press the touch pads on both headphones for about 30-40 seconds. First they will turn on and flash a white light, then after 10-20 seconds the light will alternately glow red and white, and finally after 10-20 seconds the light will blink red and white again and go out. This means that the headphones are completely reset.

Put them in the case for 3 seconds, take them out of the case again and wait until the left earphone synchronizes with the right one and makes a short signal to connect, then you can initiate the connection to the phone again.

With Redmi AirDots the situation is similar. First, disconnect the headphones from the phone, then do a complete reset by pressing the control buttons on both headphones for 30-40 seconds and wait until the indicator on the headphones blinks red and white twice. After that, put the headphones in a case, take out and wait until the left earphone connects to the right and sound connection signal.

If after resetting phone sees the left and right earphone separately, we recommend to put them into the case, then take out only the right earphone from the case and connect it to the phone, then take out the left earphone and wait until the earphones synchronize with each other.

If the headphones were not able to synchronize the headphones the first time, try resetting them again; in 99% of cases this solves the problem.

If the headphones still do not sync up after doing this, contact the store where you bought the headphones.
