Xiaomi google pay. How to enable and set up NFC on Xiaomi (Android Pay)

How to enable and set up NFC on Xiaomi (Android Pay)

Plastic cards have long since replaced cash. But progress didn’t stop there. Now more and more popular payment method is payment through special applications installed on smartphones. Since phones already allow such operations to be carried out as detailed as possible, many brands release their own programs.

Since payment systems have not yet become one hundred percent in circulation, many people have a question whether Google Pay works on Xiaomi, and on which models it does.

First, let’s figure out what characteristics a phone must have in order to be able to support this application.

The smartphone must be equipped with an NFC sensor.

The NFC module is the most important feature that provides contactless communication and, unfortunately, is not found in all Xiaomi phones.

  • Xiaomi Mi 5 series (including Mi 5s);
  • Xiaomi Mi 6 series;
  • Xiaomi Mi 8 series;
  • Xiaomi Mi Note 2, Mi Note 3 phones;
  • Xiaomi Mi Max series;
  • Xiaomi Mi Mix series.

You can check its availability in the technical specifications before buying, in the store with a consultant or through “Settings” on an existing device.

  • Go to “Settings”;
  • At the very beginning of the page (“Wireless networks”), enter the tab “Additional//”;
  • There you should see the item “NFC”, if it is not activated, click on the slider to enable it;
  • To work with the application, you will also need to configure one function, to do this, click on the “Security element location” field on the same page;
  • Instead of “Integrated Security”, select “Use HCE Wallet”;

In addition to this sensor, the phone must match a few more characteristics.

  • Android OS version above 4.4. If the version is lower, the program will not install, will not work properly, or you will not be able to link cards.
  • Lack of root rights (developer/superuser rights).
  • Finding the user where the given program has access. Otherwise, you simply will not find the application in the Play Market.
  • Having a google account.
  • Locked bootloader.

If one item does not match, it may be the reason why Android Pay is not working on your device.

The main problem why your Xiaomi is naughty and unwilling to pay for purchases in a contactless way is an incorrectly conducted preparatory stage.

Before the guard seizes what you typed at the checkout, quickly run through the settings above. N FC must be enabled and the primary wallet used must be HCE Wallet.

It is possible that MIUI considered the wallet management application to clog RAM and unloaded it, so you can try to restart the application.

Very often, Xiaomi users complain that the application simply refuses to launch and says “Android Pay is not supported on this device.” And this happens even on smartphones without outside interference from the user. It turns out that the device may not be verified by Google if the official firmware is installed, but not the global one.

Unfortunately, this contactless payment technology does not work on all models of the Chinese manufacturer. First of all, you must comply with the following conditions and FOCUS on them when choosing a mobile device:

  • An important aspect is the presence of a special NFC module in the design of a smartphone. It is a chip in which the owner’s payment information is stored in an independent memory. With its help, the phone generates a signal and transmits it to the receiving terminal. If there is no such module in the device, then you will not be able to make a purchase in the Mi Pay system.
  • Currently, this technology is supported by such models as: Mi 2A,3, 5, 5S, 5S Plus, 6, Note #2, Mix, Mix #2. The list shows that the payment system works only on smartphones from the Mi line. This means that the popular budget line of equipment marked Redmi Plus does not have an NFC microchip.
  • Another requirement is that the equipment has up-to-date and licensed software from the manufacturer.

NFC is an innovative technological possibility of contactless communication. Thanks to this option, it is possible to transfer information between two devices, these gadgets must have NFC modules and be at a distance of up to ten centimeters from each other.

However, not all smartphone manufacturers equip their models with such a chip, even despite the growing popularity of this technology. Basically, the NFC function is absent on budget smartphones. If we consider Xiaomi’s telephone inventions in this regard, we can see that only flagship models have NFC stuffing. But this trend is also visible in other companies producing mobile units.

NFC functionality includes three of the most popular uses in current generation phones:

In the first case, the mobile device “pretends to be” a bank card, allowing its owner to pay at a terminal that supports this payment method.

For example, after the device has read the tag, the settings on the phone can be automatically changed.

Setting up a smartphone and linking a card

Before you start storming stores and making purchases, you will need to make several changes to the system settings of your mobile device. The preparatory stage is as follows:

  • First, make sure that your smartphone model is fully compatible with the contactless payment service. If yes, then move on, if not, then don’t get upset.
  • Launch your mobile device and go to system settings. In the next window you will see the “” tab, click on it.
  • Next, select the wireless access section and at the very end of the list you will see the debugging of the NFC module.
  • This feature is disabled by default on all models for safety reasons. The next step is to activate the chip and set the “Use HCE Wallet” option. Please note that the location of the main controls may differ in each individual smartphone.
  • Now the contactless module is activated and you can proceed to adding bank cards.

Before we talk about setting up Android Pay on your smartphone, you need to make sure that it supports the contactless payment function. The mobile device must meet a number of requirements in order for the Android Pay service to function properly. These include:

  • Root rights disabled.
  • Locked bootloader.
  • Firmware of the gadget of the official version from the developer.

You can find out if your gadget has this function by carefully studying the instructions that came with the device. If you don’t have an NFC chip, you can still use contactless payment, but only in apps and online stores.

List of the most popular Xiaomi models that have a built-in Near Field Communication chip and support Android Pay payment service (the full list can be found here):

  • Mi 2 A;
  • Mi 3 and Mi 5;
  • Mi 5s, Mi5s ;
  • Mi 6;
  • Mi 8;
  • Mi note 2 and Mi mix.

If you have found your device in the list, you can start installing Android Pay.

As a separate point, it is worth noting that there are devices in the Xiaomi smartphone line that are not equipped with a Near Field Communication chip, these include the Xiaomi Redmi and Xiaomi Mi Max series.

Most models equipped with an NFC sensor are made of plastic, plexiglass or glass ceramic. This is due to the fact that the transmission of radio frequency waves through which the chip works is better through such materials than through metal.

An exception to this rule are the Xaiomi Mi 5 and Mi 5 s models, they have a well-established NFC sensor, despite the fact that there are metal products in the smartphone case.

If the characteristics of your phone meet the requirements of the service, you should go to the Google Play, find the Google Pay application there, and download it to your smartphone. To set up the app on your Xiaomi device, please follow the simple step by step guide:

  • Go to the downloaded files, find the Google Pay app and launch it.
  • If you have multiple Google Accounts, please select the one you want to use. The bank card details added to the account earlier will be automatically displayed in the program, if not, you need to add a card.
  • Find the “ ” sign in the right corner, click on it, select “Add a credit card or debit card”, then scan the card so that its front side is visible in the rectangle on the screen, or enter the data manually (card number. expiration date, three-digit CVC code). You may need to confirm the action using SMS.
  • If necessary, you can add several more bank cards, following the same algorithm.

Setting up the Xiaomi device itself (only possible if the smartphone has NFC):

  • Enter the device menu.
  • “Settings”.gt; “”, find the NFC mode and activate it.
  • Go to the “Location of the security element” section, and select the HCE wallet in the corresponding section.
  • Go to the “Pay with one touch”.gt; Default payment method and select the Google Pay app. Select “Always” in the “Use the default application” item.
  • Save the settings. Ready. The application and your device will help you make a contactless payment through the terminal with one touch.

Xiaomi does not lag behind its competitors and also implements the idea of contactless communication.

The company’s developers are actively introducing this interesting technology into their phones.

At first, the company did not really believe that this option would bring success, but watching its popularity increase, they nevertheless decided to equip their offspring with an NFC module.

Model range of Xiaomi phones with NFC module:

  • Mi Mix 2S;
  • Mi Mix 2;
  • Mi Mix;
  • Mi Note 3;
  • Mi Note 2;

Xiaomi Mi5. The main samples of smartphones from Xiaomi have always been considered compromises, but this model turned out to be super successful, in connection with this, the developers installed an NFC module in it. In the upper right corner, you can see the already known designations of the integrated NFC adapter. Such a set of functions is very popular with users from all over the world and I am glad that the new product is fully loaded by them.

Xiaomi Mi 5s. This sample also boasts the presence of an NFC module. Has a Snapdragon 821 processor.

Manufacturers deliberately reduced the speed of this processor to 2.15 GHz, but due to this, the product has greater autonomy – a fully charged battery (3200 mAh battery) is enough for nine hours of video viewing and seven hours of intensive work (Internet, photo editor, work with text).

Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. Looks very futuristic, this is a fresh bezel-less phone model from Xiaomi manufacturer. Bluetooth, NFC, 4 GB RAM, 3400 mAh battery.

“Android Pay – which Xiaomi phones support?” – a frequent question of smartphone users of the company. Answer: Xiaomi’s mid-budget and flagship segment.

The price of such devices varies from 16,000 rubles to 40,000 rubles (the cost of new gadgets that you can buy). Android Pay on Xiaomi Redmi 4x is not supported due to the budget of the smartphone.

Don’t know how to set up NFC on Xiaomi? Here are the tips:

  • Go to the standard application “Security”. Select Permissions – Other permissions – Android Pay and set all the checkboxes to “Allow”.
  • In the “Security” settings in the Autostart column, check the box against Android Pay.
  • Go to Settings – Battery and performance – Application battery consumption. In the event that there is already a checkmark for “Enable”, then a little higher click on “Select applications” – Android Pay. And put “No restrictions” and below “Allow”. In the event that there is already a mark on “Turn off”, then do not change anything.
  • Just in case, go to Settings – Notifications and status bar – App notifications. Select Android Pay and check the boxes everywhere.
  • Go to Settings – – Location of the security element – “Use HCE Wallet”. Below is the item Contactless payment – The main means of payment – “Android Pay”.
  • Double check if NFC is enabled and can be used.

If none of the above helped, try to go to the application “Security” – Power – Energy saving – uncheck.

We hope you now know how to enable the NFC function on Xiaomi and use Android Pay.

The leader of the Chinese technology market did not stand aside and released its version of the Mi Pay payment system. True, this type of contactless payment has not yet gained wide popularity in our country from the word “completely”. What to do? Install on your Xiaomi Android Pay, and we will tell you how to do it.

First of all, you need to familiarize yourself with the list of Xiaomi devices equipped with the NFC module and find your own among them:

  • Mi 2A;
  • Mi 3;
  • Mi 5;
  • Mi 5S;
  • Mi 5S Plus;
  • Mi 6;
  • Mi Note 2;
  • Mi Mix;
  • Mi Mix 2.

Apparently, only owners of the flagships of the Mi line will be able to use the Android Pay service, but representatives of the budget Redmi series cannot boast of the necessary module and remain out of work.

Xiaomi initially does not want to work with the Android Pay system, so the smartphone setup includes a preliminary settings step so that the system works stably and without interruptions.

How to set up the payment system application

Setting up Android Pay on Xiaomi is not so easy. Let’s see how to do it.

Please note that the operation of payments also depends on how correctly you installed the program.

Mi Pay is a convenient and universal payment service that allows you to make a contactless purchase. It has a huge demand and interest in China, in Russia they learned about it relatively recently. The principle of operation is similar to making a payment with a bank card, but with a greater degree of protection. The mobile device imitates the data of a credit card attached to the service, as a result, the payment terminal sees the smartphone as a card.

Now almost any store or supermarket uses a modern payment terminal that supports this technology. Consider the benefits:

  • Now you only need to carry a mobile device with you, which can easily replace all cash and bank cards.
  • High time savings. The transaction process is several times faster, and you do not have to wait for the seller to collect and give change from the purchase.
  • The subscriber can add several different banks to the system at the same time and select the required account directly during the payment procedure.
  • Increased security level. The owner of a smartphone does not need to worry about the safety of funds. Each purchase must be confirmed by entering a password or scanning a fingerprint.

How to use?

The process of using the Android Pay platform is extremely simple and is divided into two options:

  • Purchase of goods for up to 1000 rubles. It is enough just to unlock the device, attach it to the terminal or hold it next to it, and the payment will be made. Accordingly, purchases for a small amount are carried out instantly.
  • Purchases over 1000 rubles. When paying for more expensive goods, you will have to additionally confirm the operation in the application itself or enter the PIN code of the card in the terminal.

In addition to financial transactions directly in stores, Android Pay can be used to pay for purchases on the Internet.

What to do if Android Pay is not working?

Many users tend to get superuser rights, as this opens up additional features and gives them the chance to customize the phone as they wish. But in the case of Google Pay, root rights will play a trick on you in the form of a lack of access to install the application.

However, this situation can still be corrected.

  • Download and install MiFlash on PC;
  • Go to the following address bar: “C:Program Files (x86)XiaomiMiPhoneGoogle”;
  • Copy the “Android” folder to C drive and rename it – “abd”;
  • Next, you need to go to the Main Menu, Fastboot mode: hold down the power and volume down keys at the same time, after the vibration signal, release the power button, but keep holding the volume down until the Xiaomi logo appears;
  • On a PC, holding down the “Shift” button, you need to right-click, and then select “Open command window”;
  • In the line enter the following commands: “fastboot devices”, “fastboot oem lock” and “fastboot oem device-info”;
  • If you see “false”, the bootloader is locked;
  • Turn on the device;

The Magisk Manager application can also help solve the problem with root rights.

Why doesn’t Android Pay work on Xiaomi

It happens that you have downloaded, installed the application, turned on all the functions and all the necessary characteristics are present in your smartphone, but still Android Pay does not work. What to do then?

Let’s look at a few more points that you may not have known about.

Possible reasons why Android pay does not work on Xiaomi:

  • Old firmware – you just need to update your phone to the latest version of MIUI.
  • If the battery charge is below 5%, the application simply won’t turn on;
  • As a last resort, check the validity of the card and its balance;
  • You may have forgotten to set autoplay.
  • Go to “Settings”;
  • In the “Security” section, select “Permissions”, then “Other Permissions”;
  • After selecting Android Pay, check all items;
  • Return to “Security”;
  • Activate the “Autoplay” field near Google Pay;
  • Go to “Battery and performance”, then “Battery consumption by applications”;
  • In the corresponding application, put “No restrictions” and “Allow”;

What devices does Xiaomi Pay work on

To activate the NFC module on a mobile phone or tablet, you just need to set the permission to use the module.

To do this, you need to do a few manipulations in the menu of your smartphone:

  • Go to the Settings menu and find the sub-item “Wireless networks”.
  • Check the box for “Allow data sharing when pairing your phone with another device” – Android Beam should start.
  • If Android Beam doesn’t start, click on it and select “Yes”.

NFC is the most convenient innovation that allows you to quickly and conveniently set up your phone depending on the situation (using special tags), exchange information with other gadgets, or use a mobile device as a plastic card for payments. So far, NFC in Xiaomi smartphones is not so popular.

The most successful models of this company in terms of sales, Redmi and Redmi Note, unfortunately, are not equipped with this technology. At the moment, only flagship Xiaomi models are equipped with NFC. However, fans of these smartphones hope that the situation will change soon!

How to use Mi Pay to make UPI payments in India

UPI, or the Unified Payment Interface gateway, has played a big role in the burgeoning fintech revolution in India. This has seen the arrival of several players with Google Pay, PayTM, PhonePe being some of the biggest ones around. With the launch of Mi Pay, Xiaomi too is looking for a piece of the pie. After a prolonged beta test, Xiaomi is now finally rolling out Mi Pay in India. Here’s a quick guide to get you started with Xiaomi’s payment service.

Getting started with Mi Pay

Getting hold of the Mi Pay app is as simple as going over to the Mi App Store on your Xiaomi phone. Our Redmi Note 7 did not have the app preinstalled, despite running the latest version of the operating system, but installing it from the app-store was a cinch. Over time, the app is expected to be baked into MIUI.

How to set up Mi Pay

Once you’ve got the app installed, getting Mi Pay up and running takes just a few seconds. You’ll be prompted to log in to your Mi account the first time you run the app. Since the app runs only on a Xiaomi phone, chances are that you already have a Mi account but in case you don’t, the app will help you register a new account.

The main interface of the Mi Pay is very straightforward and clean. A banner helpfully points out that you will need to link your bank account to Mi Pay to start using the service for UPI payments.

Tap the icon and you will be required to enter in your phone number to further link your bank account. On the next step, the app lists out all supported banks from where you can select the appropriate account. Select your bank from the list and the app shows you your account details. From here on, you can either enter your existing UPI pin or create a new one in case you don’t have one. The app also makes it easy to change your UPI pin in case you’ve forgotten it.

Once you have entered the UPI pin, the app gives you an option to create a new UPI ID. You can continue to use your existing UPI ID as well.

How to send money using Mi Pay?

Like most UPI payment apps, Mi Pay lets you both send and receive money. You can also scan a QR code to make transfers which is quite convenient if you and your friend both use Mi Pay.

The most common use case scenario will, of course, be to simply enter the UPI ID. Once the app has verified the recipient ID to make sure that it is a valid one, you’ll be able to enter the amount and send over the payment.

The app can also pull up details via the contacts app from where you can send over a transfer request or transfer the amount straight away. Your UPI details are tied in with the Mi Account and registered mobile number. For users of Xiaomi phones, this should mean a seamless user experience.

Similarly, creating a transfer request is straightforward. Enter the UPI ID of the user from whom you wish to receive money. You can then set the amount as well as a validity limit for the link. This will send a notification to the user to make the payment to your account.

The Mi Pay app also lets you transfer money using a bank account number and IFSC code should you chose that.

Xiaomi says that Mi Pay is a core app in their India strategy and you can already see some of the deeper integrations made here. For one, both the contacts and SMS apps have an option to transfer money. You will soon be able to make purchases on the company’s store using Mi Pay.

How to pay bills using Mi Pay

An added incentive of using an integrated payment solutions app is that it offers an easy way to pay off bills, recharge mobile phone plans and more. Mi Pay is no different. The app lets you recharge your mobile phone, is capable of recognizing the circle and operator using your phone number. You can then look up plans or enter the recharge amount to continue.

The process for paying bills is similar to that for transferring money to an individual recipient. Select the service for which you wish to make a payment. Following this, Mi Pay gives you a larger list of all the supported operators. In the case of DTH services, this includes all the popular operators like Tata Sky, Videocon, BIG TV, Airtel and more. There are similar options for broadband operators, gas payments, etc.

Why should I use Mi Pay?

The biggest advantage of Mi Pay over a third party app is the deep integration it offers in system apps. From the contacts and messaging integration, Mi Pay makes it easy to send money to your contacts.

Mi Pay, however, lacks the cashback incentives that Google Pay and PhonePe offer to make it a lucrative option for potential users. With the app preloaded on Xiaomi phones, we suspect the company expects most users to opt for the easier option and use Mi Pay. It remains to be seen how aggressively Xiaomi pushes the service in India.

Are you an existing Xiaomi customer? Would you use Mi Pay over Google Pay or PayTM? If so, why? Let us know in the Комментарии и мнения владельцев section.

Will Xiaomi’s Mi Pay Upset PhonePe, Google Pay’s UPI Payments Run?

Chinese electronic giant Xiaomi has finally opened its digital payment platform Mi Pay to all Android users through the Google Play Store. However, the users will require the users to create a Mi Account to register.

Chinese electronic giant Xiaomi has finally opened its digital payment platform Mi Pay to all Android users through the Google Play Store. However, the users will require the users to create a Mi Account to register.

Initially, the digital payment platform, which was designed in collaboration with ICICI Bank, was only available for download through Mi Apps stores only, which is available for Xiaomi smartphone users.

Mi Pay’s Growth So Far

Like other payments platforms, Mi Pay offers services like unified payments interface (UPI) support, recharges and bill payments for cellular services, DTH, broadband and other bill payment facilities. Further, the platform also allows users to view transaction history and generate a personal or dynamic QR code for receiving payments from other users.

The Mi Pay service, which was launched in February 2019, had over 18 Mn registered users in India by September, Xiaomi said. The company claimed to have mediated transactions worth INR 200 Cr within six months of its launch. The company had also added that 90% Mi user interface (MIUI) users have used Mi Pay to transfer funds to friends and family. Xiaomi India COO Muralikrishnan B said in a statement, “Mi Pay has emerged to be one of the most reliable and easiest ways to pay for millions of MIUI users in India. Not only this, since its launch in India, more than 1.4 Mn UPI IDs were created on Mi Pay, further contributing to the government’s vision to boost the digital economy.”

This growth of Mi Pay could be attributed to Xiaomi’s lead in the Indian smartphone market for the last eight quarters. Due to its affordable pricing and slew of features, Xiaomi has established itself as a market leader.

Competing With Google Pay, PhonePe Co

After taking on other mobile markets, Xiaomi now wants to establish its dominance over the mobile payments application such as Google Pay, PhonePe and Paytm in India. However, the reality is that the companies, which launched in India way before Mi Pay, have already got a stronghold on the market and are quite tough to beat. Taking only UPI payments into account, which is currently the most popular mode of digital payments with 955 Mn transactions in September 2019, Google Pay and Phone Pe have been leading the market in terms of transactions. The last recorded data of the company wise share over digital payments show, Flipkart’s PhonePe (launched in 2016) stood first, registering 342 Mn transactions in August. Google Pay (2015) was second with 320 Mn transactions, while digital payment giant Paytm (2010) continued to slip away with only 157 Mn transactions. Overall, UPI had recorded over 918.35 Mn transactions in August 2019, and has crossed the 1 Bn transactions mark in October.

What has maintained Paytm, Google Pay and PhonePe’s popularity is the brand recognition they have created over the past few years, in addition to the offers and rewards. Secondly, these apps are also platform-agnostic and are available on Apple’s iOS devices as well. Each platform has also branched out into releasing many offline-to-online payments initiatives for the retail space.

Another point that goes against Mi Pay is the fact that it’s just another UPI app, which have become very commonplace in India now.

So even though Mi Pay has begun well, it has a long way to go before it can compete with the already established players.

Xiaomi And Amazfit Watches With NFC For Contactless Payment

The year is 2022, and NFC watches are more popular than ever, thanks to the acceptance of cashless payments. A significant player in the smartwatch industry, Xiaomi also has its cashless payment system, Mi Pay, which is available in many countries, including China and India.

When it comes to Xiaomi watches, not all of them are equipped with NFC, but few have NFC. If you are interested in Xiaomi watches with NFC, keep reading because I will share them. Let us begin.

Best Xiaomi and Amazfit watches with NFC in 2022

Xiaomi and Amazfit offer a variety of smartwatches, but not all of them are equipped with NFC, so I carefully selected the ones with NFC. Let’s take a look.

Xiaomi Watch Color 2

Let’s start with Xiaomi Watch Color 2, the company’s latest smartwatch. Currently, it is only available for the Chinese market, but there is a possibility that Xiaomi will launch it for the global market in the first quarter of 2022.

When it comes to specs, the Xiaomi Watch Color 2 is equipped with NFC, which allows you to make cash payments through payment methods like Alipay.

In addition, you can store your subway card, bus card, access card, and other contactless access information in the watch. Overall, the Color 2 is a solid choice if you’re looking for a budget Xiaomi watch with NFC.

Xiaomi Mi Band 6 NFC

The Xiaomi Mi Band 6 NFC is the NFC variant of the famous Mi Band 6. As the name suggests, this version of the Mi Band 6 has NFC so that you can make the transaction on any Mastercard payment terminal.

Since Mastercard is a famous company, you can easily find many terminals around you and use your Mi Band 6 NFC for contactless transactions.

Aside from NFC, there aren’t many differences. Like the regular Mi Band 6, the NFC version also has 30 exercise modes that accurately track outdoor running, treadmills, rowing machines, walking, elliptical trainers, cycling, and other activities.

In addition, the Band can also automatically detect and track physical activities such as running and walking on the treadmill. If you want a fitness Band with NFC, the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 NFC is a good choice.

Amazfit GTR 2

Amazfit GTR 2 is another trendy Xiaomi watch with a built-in NFC. With the GTR 2, you can easily make contactless payments. In addition, you can also use it to store the digital key for the Smart door lock, access card, and more.

Amazfit Verge is a sports smartwatch with advanced heart rate tracking, GPS, etc. It is also equipped with a special NFC chip so that you can use it for contactless payments at NFC terminals.

Amazfit Verge also has a built-in speaker and microphone, which means you can use it to make and receive calls. Overall, if you are looking for a sports smartwatch with NFC and calling capabilities, Amazfit Verge is a good choice.

Amazfit Nexo

Amazfit is a large company and is present in many countries worldwide, including the United States and China. The company often separates versions for the international market and the Chinese market. The best example is Amazfit Nexo.

For example, if you buy the Chinese version of Amazfit Nexo, you will get a wide range of advanced features such as ECG and NFC. However, if you buy the global version of Amazfit Nexo, both features are missing.

So if you want the Nexo with NFC and ECG, you should buy the Chinese version of the watch. However, it is also important to note that these features only work in Chinese territories.

For example, if you buy the Chinese version and want to use NFC for payments in the US, chances are it won’t work. Therefore, I recommend you to buy Amazfit Nexo only if you live in China. If not, you should consider other options on the list.

Amazfit GTR 2e

Amazfit GTR 2e is another Xiaomi watch with a built-in NFC, which means you can use it for cashless payments and store your meter and other digital keys on it. The watch also has a very stylish design that gives it a premium look.

When it comes to features, you get a variety of watch faces, always-on display, activity tracking, heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation measurement, etc.

Amazfit GTR 2

Like Amazfit Nexo, GTR 2 also comes with NFC. However, this feature is limited to the Chinese version and unavailable for the global market.

It is designed for the Chinese market, doesn’t support online payment methods, and doesn’t work even if you get the Chinese version. So if you live outside of China, I recommend you consider other Xiaomi watches on this list.
