An example with a basket already built into the firmware is based on a Huawei / Honor smartphone. Suppose we want to delete an image.

When you click on the “Delete” button, the system reports that this item is placed in the basket for 30 days, after which it will be automatically deleted.

The basket in our example is located in the “Albums” section. called “Recently Deleted”.

Images from the recycle bin can be restored if desired.

If you don’t have a basket on your device, use the Google Photos app. When you delete an image in this application, it is automatically sent to the trash, but only if deleted through Google Photos. You can download Google Photos on the Play Market.

Another option is to uninstall using third–party applications like ES Explorer. Download the application. If you have it installed, update to the latest version. We launch the application and see such a main page, it has a basket icon on it.

Now in ES Explorer we are looking for a file to delete. We found the image, and we will delete it. Click on the file and hold until a checkmark appears. At the bottom of the page, click Delete.

Need to confirm the action. As you can see, by default there is a checkmark “Move to basket”. Do not remove it, click OK.

The file has been moved to the trash but not permanently deleted. We return to the main page of the application, go to the basket and see our file. To restore or delete it permanently, press and hold it. A checkmark appears on the file, and an additional menu appears below. In it, select the action that you want to carry out with the file.
