The GODEX G500 printer operates in two print modes:

• Thermal is carried out on thermoetics (thermal tube) due to heating the thermal cutter.
• Thermal seal tolerates the image to any medium using a coloring tape (ribbon) by thermal transformation. If the QLABEL or GOLABEL software is used to print labels, set the print mode in the printer settings in this.

To switch the printer from one mode to another, it is necessary to carry out the following sequence of actions:

• Turn off the printer and, by pressing, hold the Feed key.
• Holding Feed, turn on the printer again. After 3 sound signals, the Ready and Status key will light up red. This means that the printer has entered the thermal printing mode. Release Feed. The printer in thermal printing mode will automatically print “Now Is Direct Thermal (DT Mode)”.

Holding Feed, turn on the printer. After 3 sound signals, the Ready key is blurred by orange, and Status. red. the printer will enter into the thermal seal mode. The printer will print “Now is thermal Transfer (TT Mode)”. This means that the device is in thermal seal mode.
