Mac OS Install Windows Bootcamp. Video: How to install Windows XP on Virtualbox

Installation of Windows 7/8 on Mac without using an optical drive

On many Mac computer today there is no optical drive: it simply does not come in the kit on the MacBook Air and Mac Mini, on some MacBook/IMAC is replaced by an additional 2.A 5-inch disk, and some computers can simply not work.

New poppies can load from flash drives, but I am the owner of not new (2010), and this leadership will be useful to those who want fast put Windows from the image on any Mac.

I tried many ways. I tried to install a flash drive/disk with a USB, everything was in vain (not every MAC is loaded from a flash drive or outer disk). Refit also did not give anything. there was a dark screen. This method was just salvation. So what is needed:

Stage 1: Creating the Boot Camp section

Create Bootcamp using Boot Camp Assistant. The operation is quite simple. AT 10 O’CLOCK.6 Assistant creates a section without Комментарии и мнения владельцев, at 10.7. will warn that you do not have a drive.

The word “generalized” here means that the image is not tied to some specific mac gland. After filling it on the Boot Camp section (using WinClone), when loading from it Windows 7/8 will automatically set up all iron, reboot and you can work. However, additional drivers may be needed that you can put from the Boot Camp kit. You can use this image in the future on any Mac for very quick Windows installation. However, for the first time it must be created, this procedure is not the simplest:

WinOSX. Transforming Windows XP into Mac OS X!

Stage 2.1: Installation Windows 7/8 in Virtualbox

Create a new virtual machine in VirtualBox, name it Win7. It is important to use the image of a disk for a virtual machine VDI dynamic (Dynamically Allocated). Size of 10 GB should be enough. Install Windows using the ISO installation image. Do not put any software anymore, including the auxiliary software from Virtualbox, t.to. It should be a clean system.

Stage 2.2: deletion of the System Reserved section (reserved by the system) in Windows 7/8

The problem is that Windows has created another additional section in which the bootloader is actually located. It is necessary to transfer the bootloader to the main section and remove this auxiliary.

Update: You can make it easier: at the start of the Windows 7/8 installation, when choosing a disk section, we create a new one and the System Reserved and C disk appears: \. Further disc with: \ delete, and the System Reserved is stretched to the desired size and format. After that, you can install Windows in it and there will be no System Reserved section. Thanks Ighor Or use this method (for already installed Windows):

  • Download Windows
  • We go to the disk control (right click on the computer in the conductor. Control)
  • We assign any letter for our hidden section (the right click on the section and select the item change the letter letter or the path to the disk). For example, the letter E was assigned:
  • Run the command line Under the administrator. Alternately, carefully, Enter the next teams:
  • unloads this branch of the registry
  • Copy the Bootmgr file
  • Copy the boot folder
  • We prescribe a bootloader to section C:
  • On the conclusion of the teams, we are convinced that everything went successfully. Now the command line can be closed.

  • In the disk management, we make an active section C and delete the already unnecessary System Reserved section. There will be a retained place (100 MB), but this is not important.
  • We reboot, the system should now boot out now from section C:

Stage 2.3: We make Windows generalized using the Sysprep utility

  • Run the command line Under the administrator. Introduce: there is no exact answer to the question “why”. But this service must be stopped
  • In the folder C: \ Windows \ System32 \ SYSPREP Create the UNATTEND file.XML of the following content: Carefully make sure that the extension of the file is precisely “XML”, since by default Windows can add “txt”: unattend.XML.TXT. For this, I put the option to always show the extensions of all files in the SV-VAC of the folder.
  • Launch C: \ Windows \ System32 \ Sysprep \ Sysprep.EXE. Put the following options:

Stage 2.4: Converting the VDI image in WinClone image

  • We go to File-Media Manager in VirtualBox. Close Copy of our Windows section, be sure to use the Fixed Size option. Putting the copy will be called Win7_copy. We are waiting for this operation
  • We go to Terminal, move to the folder, where you saved a copy and enter: again we are waiting for the completion
  • Enter another team in the terminal: after that you should be subsided by the image of Untitled
  • We go to WinClone, make a copy of this planned Untitled disk in the first Image tab
  • The image is ready!

Recording a boot USB using an assistant Boot Camp

The Mac OS X has a built.in utility designed to create a bootable flash drive with Windows and subsequent installation of the system in a separate section on the hard drive or SSD of the computer, followed by the possibility of choosing Windows or OS X when loading.

However, the bootable flash drive with Windows 10, created in this way, successfully works not only for this purpose, but also to install the OS for ordinary PC and laptops, and you can load from it both in Legacy (BIOS) and UEFI in both both cases everything goes successfully.

Connect a USB drive with a capacity of at least 8 GB to your MacBook or IMAC (and, possibly, Mac Pro, the author added dreamily). Then begin to type “Boot Camp” in search of Spotlight, or run the “Boot Camp” assistant from the “Program”. “Utilities”.

In the Assistant Boot Camp, select “Create a Windows 7 or newer installation disk”. Unfortunately, remove the mark “Download the latest support for Windows from Apple” (it will be loaded from the Internet and takes a lot) will not work, even if you need a flash drive to install PC and this is not necessary. Click “Continue”.

On the next screen, indicate the path to the ISO image of Windows 10. If you don’t have one, then the easiest way to download the original image of the system is described in the instructions for how to download ISO Windows 10 from the Microsoft website (Mac is completely suitable for the second method using Microsoft Techbench). Also select the connected flash drive for recording. Click “Continue”.

It remains only to wait for the copy of the files to the drive, as well as the download and installation of the software from Apple to the same USB (in the process they may be requested and the password of the user OS X). Upon completion, you can use the loading flash drive with Windows 10 on almost any computer. You will also be shown instructions on how to boot from this drive to Mac (hold the Option go alt during rebooting).

Windows 10 in Mac OS X loading flash drive

There is another simple way to record the installation flash drive with Windows 10 on the Mac computer, though this drive is only suitable for loading and installing on PC and laptops with UEFI support (and turned on in EFI mode). However, these can be almost all modern devices released in the last 3 years.

To record this method, as well as in the previous case, we will need the drive itself and the image of ISO mounted in OS X (click on the image file twice, and it is mounted automatically).

The flash drive will need to format in FAT32. To do this, run the Discure Pool program (using Spotlight search or through programs. utilities).

In the disk utility, select the connected flash drive on the left, and then click “Watch out”. As formatting parameters, use MS-DOS (FAT) and the sections diagram of Master Boot Record (and it is better to set the name in Latin, not in Russian). Click “Watch up”.

The last step is just to copy the entire contents of the connected image from Windows 10 to a USB flash drive. But there is one nuance: if you use Finder for this, then many have an error when copying the nlscoremig file.DLL and TerminArservices-Gateway-Package-RePLACement.MAN with an error code 36. You can solve the problem by copying these files one at a time, but there is a way and easier to use the OS X terminal (run it the same way as the previous utilities were launched).

In the terminal, enter the CP command.R path_k_Smontated_ image/ path_k_fleshka and click Enter. In order not to write and not guess these paths, you can write only the first part of the team in the terminal (CP.R and spaced at the end), then drag the disc with the Windows 10 distribution (desktop icon) on the terminal window, adding a “/slash and a spacecraft (required) to the automatically spelled out way, and then you need to add anything here. ).

Any line of progress will not appear, it will simply be necessary to wait for all the files to be rewritten to the USB flash drive (this can take up to 20-30 minutes on slow USB drives) without closing the terminal until the invitation to enter the commands again appears in it.

Upon completion, you will receive a ready.made USB installation drive with Windows 10 (the structure of the folders that should turn out is shown in the screenshot above), from which you can either install the OS or use the system restoration on computers with UEFI.

The worst is grateful. It turned out to be necessary to make a flash drive for the stump. Everything is not easy, but very simple, as usual in poppy.

Thank you big! A rare useful article!

Super! Many thanks to the creator of the article.

Weird. Or maybe you’ll somehow load it from it like that?

It doesn’t work, the system writes that the image of Windows 7 is needed, but not 10

Very strange. I made flash drives with 10 on Yosemite and El Captain, there were no problems. In extreme cases, the second method should work on the older OS X.

Thanks. With a dozen everything is intuitively clear. It is much more interesting how to install Windows 7, on a poppy with a sierra?

Through the Boot Camp, in theory, it should work. But there is such a nuance that I heard that there are some nuances with the installation of 7-ki on relatively new poppies with the EFI-load, but I have not yet encountered (the last time I put it on MBA 2012, using Boot Camp, everything there It was smooth). In general, I assume that the path will be like this (and I don’t know what can interfere with it): with the help of Boot Camp, cut the drive, reboot, holding Alt/Option, select a flash drive from the loading devices (I don’t know here, with a note of UEFI, or without it, in theory, two will be displayed) well, continue to act. Although, too: on Sierra, I have never done this with any OS, suddenly something has changed in this regard compared to YouSemite, but I do not know.

Unfortunately, the alleged path in practice will be much shorter and will hinder it the following. Launch Boot Camp and see: 1. There is no point in the creation of the loading flash drive (but this is not a problem, this item can be revived in separate manipulations); 2. Woot Camp will offer to create a bootable flash drive (as well as installing the OS) only for Windows 10 or newer. Shock!, to put it mildly. And the reason is that starting with Sierra (and, possibly, with the captain, I don’t know, t.to. I deliberately missed this axis) there is a version of Boot Camp 6.one.0, which works only with a dozen. In this article, screenshots are given from previous versions. And the Mac, by the way, I have an old one, model mid.2011. About three years ago he put Windu on him with a 7 second system, which was installed smoothly, everything worked. Years have passed and Winda began to bend.Here and a dozen more or less settled in the masses. It was decided to install Windows 10. With a creak, swearing and resisting, a dozen still established and launched (a separate story, including with a problem from paragraph 1 stated above). BUT! No sound, error 10 on an audio controller. Judging by the Internet, the problem is common, but there were no solutions on these same Internet. It could not be happiness. It was decided to score on Windu 10, since it is not acceptable to score for the lack of sound, and again install Windows 7. This is where the problem arises, which I set out above in paragraph 2.

At the same time, Boot Camp drivers were installed in 10-ku and the sound did not work out. Then I have the following option: we manually make an EFI loading USB flash drive with 7-butu (on Windows machine. In general, you can do Mac, but I won’t give clear steps right away-the essence will be in the interpretation of actions with the command line in Win for MacOS, and from under Windows there are a bunch of instructions on the topic of the UEFI Windows 7 boot flash drive).

We try to load from it on a poppy and install it in a pre.prepared boot CAMP section.

I can’t experiment myself: it stands on MBA 2014 10, I have to work in it, not up to reinstates. But I saw that I really in the Boot Camp “Windows 10 or newer”

Absolutely, Boot Camp drivers were installed in 10-ku and the sound was not wound up.

Section of the hard drive

As soon as the software loading is over, the assistant will offer to create a section for Windows on a hard drive. It will be necessary to indicate how much free space will be allotted to this section. To install Windows 7 on the MAC will require at least 16 GB of free space.

  • Insert Windows installation disk;
  • Press the “Start installation” button. The computer will reboot and start the Windows installation;
  • Follow the instructions of the Windows installation master;
  • On the screen with the question “Where do you want to install Windows?»Select the Bootcamp section;
  • Then select disk parameters (additionally) and format the disk. Better not to touch other settings.

Installation of Windows drivers

As soon as Windows installed, it is necessary to install drivers that were downloaded earlier so that all the equipment worked correctly in Windows, including sound, display and wireless network adapters.

  • Remove the Windows installation disk;
  • Insert a flash drive or disk that drivers for Windows were previously recorded;
  • Open the contents for viewing and in the Boot Camp folder twice click the setup file.exe to install drivers. Next, follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation. Do not cancel the installation!
  • After the installation is completed, reboot the computer.

Installation Windows 10 on Mac

A screen starts installing Windows will appear in front of you.

  • Here you need to choose a language.
  • Enter the licensed code of the operating system, if you do not have it yet, then click on the button on the left “I have no key” and you can enter it later after the purchase.
  • Next, select Windows 10 Assembly. (depends on what license you have purchased or are going to buy)
  • Accept the license agreement.
  • Select the section on which Windows will be installed, in our case, select a section with the name Bootcamp and click on. Then the installation of Windows will begin.
  • The computer will reboot several times and the first Windows 10 download will begin.
  • Then we will confirm the region again
  • Choose a keyboard layout language
  • We will connect to the Internet

Further actions are optional to skip them.

Let us dwell only on the input of the name of the new user and create a password for him.

If you don’t want to install a password, you can just click on.

Installation of BootCamp drivers and tools on Windows 10

At the first launch, you need to finish the installation of bootCAMP drivers here, the bootcamp drivers and tools will be installed, after which we click and reboot the computer.

After rebooting, we get the operating system ready to work, now you can configure the display for yourself and get the latest Windows updates.

Switching from Windows 10 to MacOS Mojave

If you want to switch back to MacOS, then in the right low corner near the clock find the Bootcamp icon and click on it with the right mouse button, then select reboot in OS X and click OK.

If this method does not work, then reboot the computer as usual through the start menu, but when you start the computer, click the Alt (Option) key.

You will see the choice of loading section, choose the section on which MacOS is installed and you will return back to MacOS.

How to install Windows on Mac? In any way described above. Installing Windows on MacOS is a fairly rare. But even for this phenomenon, the BootCamp system utility is hidden inside the MacOS, which was created to install Windows as the second operating system. This once again proves that Apple seeks to provide all possible problems that users of their devices may occur.

If under the material you like, you will click one of the buttons of social networks and share with your friends.

What will be required to install Windows on Mac

In terms of installation requirements, all Windows OS releases can be divided into three categories:

  • Licensed installation CD or DVD-disk, flash drive or virtual image of ISO with Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7;
  • Apple laptop or PC supporting the selected OS;
  • Internet connection;
  • at least 35 GB of free space on a hard disk in the case of the primary installation of an additional OS. If you need to update the version of the program, you need about 40 GB;
  • at least 2 GB of RAM;
  • For successful installation and normal operation of XP and VISTA versions, a working Mac OS X V10 will be required.5 Leopard or Mac OS X V10.10 Yosemite. The assemblies issued in the period between the releases of these versions are also suitable;
  • Any OS from Apple, released after assembling Mac OS X V10, is suitable for installing Windows 7.5 Yosemite. You will also need an external data drive (flash drive or CD) with a capacity of more than 16 GB. It is needed for drivers loaded from the official website of Apple. For other versions of Windows USB drive or disk are not required.

For installation of Windows 7, most of the modern Apple computers are suitable, for example, two MacBook models with a diagonal of 12 inches that appeared on sale in 2015-16

The external drive must support the method of storing and transmitting data in FAT format (MS-DOS).

Requirements for the second category (Windows 8):

  • the original image of the desired version of the OS (flash drive, DVD-disk or ISO image);
  • Internet connection;
  • at least 40 GB of free space;
  • one of the MAC computers with technical characteristics that meet the system requirements of the eighth version of Windows;
  • installed Mac OS X suitable version.

If all the requirements are met, the Boot Camp utility will automatically install additional software to adapt Windows 8 to the technical features of your Mac.

To find out the version of your operating system, you need to go to the menu (button with the Apple’s logo in the lower left corner of the keyboard) and select the “About this Mac” item.

Установка Windows на Mac без DVD / Обход Boot Camp и установка драйверов 2019

The MacOS version can be found from the menu “About this Mac”, which is available when pressing the Apple logo button on the keyboard

Requirements for the third category are similar, except for one condition: the version of the OS used should be Mac OS X Yosemite or higher.

Installation using boot Camp

Due to the differences between different Windows, we describe the instructions for installation to each category separately.

Windows 7 or earlier versions

To install Windows XP, VISTA or Windows 7 on Apple’s computer:

  • Connect an external data drive and do not extract it until the installation is completely completed.
  • Create a virtual image of the boot disk. To do this, you can use programs such as Daemon Tools or Nero Burning Rom. The image will be required to work with the Boot Camp program.

The image of the Windows loading disk can be created using the Nero Express program

In the window that appears, we put a checkmark opposite the “Create a Windows 7” installation disc

We confirm the loading of the latter to support Windows from Apple website

We set the required size of the virtual disk for Windows OS

Windows 8

Putting Windows 8 is easier and faster than earlier versions of operating systems:

  • Launch Mac in standard mode.
  • Make sure that the Mac OS X and Boot Camp do not need updating and correspond to the installed OS.
  • Install a disk or a flash drive with an original OS.

We launch the Boot Camp program and follow its instructions at every step in the installation

Boot Camp will independently install the necessary software and drivers. External USB drive is not needed. This also applies to the last release of Microsoft. Windows 10. It is enough to put a boot disk or flash drive, start the Boot Camp Assistant, divide the disk space and follow the instructions.

Features of installation of Windows OS using a flash drive

In fact, the process of installation of an additional OS using a flash drive is the same as in the case of a DVD-disk, the only difference is that you need to prepare a USB drive in advance so that it turns into a bootage. If you just write an image on a USB drive, nothing will work, you need an additional program called Ultraiso or like it.

In order to install Windows from the flash drive, you need to make it loading

This program is conditionally free. there is a test period, which is quite enough to install Windows from a flash drive. Let us give a brief instructions for the preparation of a USB drive for installing an OS from Microsoft:

  • Download the Ultraiso program from the official site and install it.
  • Run, click in the upper left corner on a drop.down menu and select a folder with a virtual image of Windows.
  • The program will automatically create a loading USB drive.

How to install Windows 10 on Mac as a second system

In all recent versions of Mac OS X, there are built.in tools for installing Windows systems on a separate disk. Assistant Boot Camp. You can find the program using the search for Spotlight or in the “Program”. “Utilities”.

Everything that is needed to install Windows 10 in this way is an image with a system (see. How to download Windows 10, the second of the methods listed in the article is suitable for MAC), an empty flash drive with a volume of 8 GB (perhaps 4 is suitable), and enough free space on SSD or hard disk.

Launch the Assistant Boot Camp and click “Next”. In the second window “Choice of actions”, mark the items “Create a Windows 7 or New” installation disk ”and“ install Windows 7 or News ”. Apple Windows Support Point will be awarded automatically. Click the “Continue” button.

In the next window, indicate the path to the Windows 10 image and select the flash drive to which it will be recorded, the data from it will be deleted in the process. Cm. Read more according to the procedure: Windows 10 boot flash drive on Mac. Click “Continue”.

At the next stage, you will have to wait until all the necessary Windows files will be copied to the USB drive. Also at this stage will be automatically loaded from the Internet and recorded on the flash drive drivers and auxiliary software for the operation of MAC equipment in Windows environment.

The next step is to create a separate section for installing Windows 10 on SSD or hard drive. I do not recommend allocating less than 40 GB for such a section. and this is if you are not going to install volumetric programs for Windows in the future.

Click the “Install” button. Your Mac will automatically reboot and offer to choose the drive from which you should load. Select the Windows USB drive. If, after rebooting the menu of choosing a loading device, it does not appear, again, manually reload, holding the Option (ALT) key.

The simple process of installing Windows 10 will begin on a computer, in which the steps described in the instructions are the Windows 10 installation from the flash drive for the “Full Installation” settings.

A different step is at the stage of choosing a section for installing Windows 10 on Mac, you will be informed that the installation on the BootCAMP section is impossible. You can click the link “set up” under the list of sections, and then format this section, after formatting the installation will become accessible, click “Next”. It can also be removed, highlighted the unexplored area and press “further”.

Further installation actions are no different from the above instructions. If for some reason when automatic rebooting in the process you get into OS X, then you can boot back into the installation program using the OPTION (ALT) keys, only this time choose a hard drive with Windows, and not flash drive.

After the system is installed and starts, from the flash drive an automatic launch of the installation of the Boot Camp components for Windows 10 must occur, just follow the installation instructions. As a result, all the driver and related utilities will be automatically installed.

If the automatic start does not occur, then open the contents of the boot flash drive in Windows 10, open the bootcamp folder on it and run the setup file.EXE.

Upon completion of the installation, the Boot Camp icon (possibly hidden behind the button with the update) will appear at the bottom right (in the Windows 10 notifications), with which you can configure the behavior of the touch panel on the MacBook (by default, it works on Windows not Since it is not quite convenient in OS X), change the system loaded by default and just reboot into OS X.

After returning to OS X, to load again to the installed Windows 10, use a reboot of a computer or laptop with a kept in the Option or ALT key.

Note: Windows 10 activation on the MAC occurs according to the same rules as for PC, in more detail. the activation of Windows 10. At the same time, the digital binding of the license obtained by updating the previous version of the OS or when using Insider Preview even before the Windows 10 release works in Boot Camp, including when changing the section or after resetting Mac. T.e. If you previously had an activated licensed Windows 10 in Boot Camp, when you subsequently installation, you can select “I have no key” when requesting a product key, ”and after connecting to the Internet, the activation will pass automatically automatically.

We use Windows 10 on Mac in Parallels Desktop

Windows 10 can be launched on Mac and “inside” OS X using a virtual machine. There is a free solution of VirtualBox for this, there are also paid options, the most convenient and maximum option with Apple OS. Parallels Desktop. At the same time, it is not only the most convenient, but in tests, also the most productive and sparing MacBook in relation to the batteries.

If you are an ordinary user who wants to easily run Windows programs on Mac and conveniently work with them without understanding the recreational sections of the settings, this is the only option that I can responsibly recommend, despite his payment.

After installing Parallels Desktop, start the program and select the creation of a new virtual machine (can be made through the “File” menu item).

You can directly download Windows 10 from the Microsoft website by means of the program, or select “Install Windows or other OS with DVD or Image”, in this case you can use your own image of ISO (additional capabilities such as the Windows transfer from Boot Camp or PC, Installation of other systems, I will not describe in the framework of this article).

After choosing the image, you will be invited to choose automatic settings for the installed system in the field of its use. for office programs or for games.

Then you will also be asked to provide a product key (Windows 10 will be installed even if you select the point that this version of the system does not require a key, but you will need activation in the future), then the installation of the system will begin, part of the steps in which manually with a simple clean installation of Windows 10 by default occur automatically (creating a user, installing drivers, selection of sections and others).

As a result, you will receive a fully operational Windows 10 inside your OS X system, which by default will operate in Cohereance. T mode.e. Windows programs will be launched as simple OS X windows, and by pressing the Virtual Machine icon, the Windows 10 menu will open in DOCK, even the notification area will be integrated.

In the future, you can change the settings of the Parallels virtual machine, including starting Windows 10 in full screen mode, configure the keyboard parameters, turn off the total access to the OS X and Windows folders (the default is turned on) and much more. If something in the process is not clear, a rather detailed certificate of the program will help.

What should be done?

Next, I will describe the steps that led me to the successful installation and launch of Windows 10 on my old poppy. In short, we take the dump of a hard drive from a virtual machine, where Windows is half installed in Legacy mode and restore this dump on physical hard poppy, where we continue to install.

Having only MAC in hand to do what we need a little more complicated, but I will leave the method below the article in the explanation. I have the possibility of using the second machine, so I use my stationary PC with SATA portioned outward.

poppy disconed to PC

First you need to download my archive in which I collected all the necessary programs and images. It is better to immediately unpack the archive on the USB flash drive, we still need software from it in the installed Windows. Link to the archive at the end of the article. The contents on the screenshot below.

The contents of the archive

Remove the hard drive from poppy and connect it to PC. Using PartitionWizard, we delete all sections on this disk and initialize the disk in MBR. This is important so that the system is launched precisely in Legacy mode.

Deleted sections. Initialized in MBR

VHD2DISK Proceeding the image of the virtual disk from the archive in VHD format to the disk of our poppy. Physical discs in this program have a display of the species // Phisicaldrivex, where x is a digit. Find out which digit which disk corresponds to the task dispatcher.

Detered the disc number. Threw dumps on him

Upon completion of the transfer of the image, we are again convinced that the disk is initialized in the MBR in the PartitionWizard program. If everything is correct, at this stage there should be two sections on our disk and a bunch of empty places.

We expand the last section to the end of the disk. Click “Apply” as in the third step (I forgot to place the picture on the screen).

Turn off the PC, disconnect the disk from it. Disconnect power from poppy (or disconnect the battery in case of macbook) and install the disk back to the Mac. We wait 30 seconds after which we connect the power back.

Turn off the power. We connect the disk. 30 sec. We connect the power

Run the Mac, holding the pressed Option button (she is Alt). A disc with Windows appeared in the boot menu! Select it and complete the installation of the system. Mac can at this stage be rebooted a couple of times, to continue the installation, you will need to hold ALT again and choose a disc with Windows, if this does not do the Mac, tries to find the EFI system and if it does not find such issues of such an error.

Legacy system is available for launching

So far we are not connecting to the Internet. Automatic Windows update can break us the entire installation. After the installation is completed, a terrible red cross on the sound icon will no longer be visible, but until the sound will work. No drivers. Also at this stage you need to connect the wired mouse, since the right mouse button through the touchpad will not work without drivers.

The sound device has been determined!

Connect the Mac to the Internet with wire. Install 7zip from the archive. Without it, the next software will fly out. We launch Brigadier from the archive on behalf of the administrator, and wait until he downloads the version of the drivers we need.

Drivers downloaded to the same folder from which we launched Brigadier. Press the right mouse button on Setup.EXE. Correction of compatibility problems. The staff utility of Windows itself will determine that the installer should operate in combinability mode with Win7 and applies these parameters. We keep compatibility parameters. Launch Setup.exe on behalf of the administrator.

After installing the drivers on the proposal, the reload will answer “yes” and hold the Option when you turn on again by selecting our disc with Windows in the boot menu.

Everything is working. Sound, Wi-Fi, touchpad and keyboard in order. If desired, you can install a TrackPad from the archive, this software adds the tachpad gestures familiar to MacOS users like tugs with three fingers, and which makes a pleasant and usable opportunity scrolling with a touchpad.

I threw a second disc with the installed MacOS. Both systems are visible in the boot menu, everything is loaded and functions properly.

Both disks in the body of the boot menu with both OS

Appendix to the instructions

If for some reason you do not have the opportunity to disconnect the hard drive of the poppy (for example, when installed on a stationary IMAC). We download the archive on the flash drive, create a boot flash drive with any Windows Portable, start from it and do it further according to the instructions. In this case, the Brigadier is launched before installing the OS and download the drivers through it on the USB flash drive, then launch from the installed Windows.

Also, if you do not have the opportunity to connect the Mac wire to the Internet, or your version of Windows Portable could not determine the network card. Download the USB flash drive with the archive you need a package of drivers from here.

Installation of Windows 7 on the MacBook Air 2010 Late Basic and the only OS

  • To begin with, we will need drivers for Windows 7, on a flash drive that comes with Air, there are no drivers (by the way, the flash drive that is included is defined as external CD-ROM).
  • Take the second flash drive, format it in FAT32 using a disk utility.
  • Launch Bootcamp. And when asked if we have a similar flash drive or drive with drivers, we will answer no, and ask to download from the Internet:
  • After everything is downloaded, we will write it down on our flash drive by choosing a point, write on an external disk:

All my attempts to make MacBook see the bootable flash drive have ended in failure, so I had to use Google. It turns out I am not the only one who needs a pure Windows/Linux on MacBook, and there is a Refit program for this. Download it from the official site: http: // refit.SourceForge.Net/. I installed myself the last version 0.fourteen. It is installed standardly, like any application in MacOS. After installation, you need to reboot the computer 2 times. At the second reboot, you need to squeeze the right-point and a similar menu (USB Flash with Windows should be on MacBook): you will have a default MacOS icon and Windows icon. We need to choose Windows. After the installer is launched, the key input, select the “full installation”. A list of sections will be displayed on which SSD is marked: delete all sections! And we create new ones, when creating Windows, it will offer, more precisely, it will order, to create a system section for 100MB. I divided the disk into 100MB, 40GB (system), and the rest. How everything will be installed, the computer will reboot and start Windows, at the beginning, it will probably hang on the white screen for a long time and look for the MacOS section, it will be cured after installing the driver, and Bootcamp applications in Windows, so that the desired section is found faster, pour the left option and Selects a disc with windows. After the installation is completed, install the drivers from the second flash drive, overload. After rebooting, we go to Bootcamp, select a disco for downloading Windows and click on the restart now. ALL! Now you will not see the white screen of MacBook for about a minute.
