Iphone Doesn’t Download Applications From Apple Id

After changing your Apple ID or password, you may need to update your credentials for your Apple services.

Apple Developer Programs

No additional action required. Within 24 hours after changing the Apple ID or password, the new data will automatically be displayed in the programs for Apple developers.

Apple Online Store

Update your Apple ID and password on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, and Apple TV.

iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

On iOS 10.3 or later, go to the Settings menu [your name] “ITunes Store and App Store.” On iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to the Settings menu “ITunes Store and App Store.”

  • If you’re signed out, enter your updated Apple ID and password.
  • If you signed in with your previous Apple ID, click the link with that ID and select Sign Out. Then enter the updated Apple ID and password.

Mac computers with OS X Mountain Lion or later, or PC computers with Windows

  1. Go to the Apple website.
  2. Click, then “Account”.
  3. In the “Account Settings” section, select “Apple ID and Password.”
  4. Enter your updated Apple ID and password.

When reserving a Genius Bar, Workshop, Business or Joint Venture, as well as for seminars and business events, you will need to provide your Apple ID and password.

Apple Support Site and Communities

  • If you’re signed out of your account, enter the updated Apple ID and password the next time you use the site features that require login. For example, it is necessary to view open calls.
  • If you signed in with your previous Apple ID, click Sign Out and confirm by clicking Sign Out again. The next time you use the site features that require login, enter the updated Apple ID and password.
  • If you’re signed out, click Sign In and enter your updated Apple ID and password.
  • If you signed in with your previous Apple ID, click Sign Out, then select Sign In and enter your updated Apple ID and password.

Facetime

Update your Apple ID and password on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, as well as on your Mac.

iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Go to the Settings menu FaceTime

  • If you’re signed out of your account on iPhone or iPod touch, click “Your Apple ID for FaceTime” and enter the updated Apple ID and password. On the iPad, just enter the updated Apple ID and password.
  • If you signed in with your previous Apple ID, click the link with that ID and select Sign Out. To re-enter your account on iPhone or iPod touch, click “Your Apple ID for FaceTime” and enter the updated Apple ID and password. On the iPad, just enter the updated Apple ID and password.

Mac with OS X Mountain Lion or later

  1. Open FaceTime.
  2. Choose FaceTime “Settings”.
    • If you’re signed out, enter your updated Apple ID and password.
    • If you signed in with your previous Apple ID, select it, and then select Sign Out. Click Sign Out again to confirm, and enter your updated Apple ID and password.

    iCloud

    Update your Apple ID and password on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, and Apple TV.

    iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

    On iOS 10.3 or later, go to the Settings menu [your name]. On iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to the Settings menu iCloud

    • If you’re signed out, enter your updated Apple ID and password. After logging into your account, data from iCloud will be automatically transferred to your device.
    • If the Apple ID has not changed, follow the instructions below.
      1. Scroll down the screen and press “Exit”, then follow the instructions on the screen. You may be required to enter a password. The data will be saved in iCloud and updated on the device the next time you log into iCloud.
      2. Enter your updated Apple ID and password.

      If you updated your email address for your Apple ID before logging out of iCloud and your device constantly asks for the password for the previous Apple ID, you can temporarily change your Apple ID to log in to your account.

      Mac computer

      If you are using macOS Catalina, select the Apple menu  System Preferences, click the Apple ID, and then click iCloud. If you are using macOS Mojave or earlier, select the Apple menu  System Preferences, and then click iCloud.

      • If you are signed out, you must enter your updated Apple ID and password to sign in. After logging into your account, data from iCloud will be automatically transferred to your device.
      • If you signed in using your previous Apple ID, follow the instructions below.
        1. Click Log Out. Depending on your iCloud settings, a screen will ask you to choose an action: copy or delete iCloud data (contacts, calendar, reminders, bookmarks, Photo Stream files) from your Mac. The data will be saved in iCloud and updated on the device the next time you log into iCloud.
        2. To sign in, enter your updated Apple ID and password.

        Windows PC

        Open iCloud for Windows and select Quit.

        • If you’re signed out, sign in with your updated Apple ID and password. After logging into your account, data from iCloud will be automatically transferred to your device.
        • If you signed in using your previous Apple ID, follow the instructions below.
          1. Click Sign Out. Depending on the iCloud settings, a screen will ask you to choose an action: copy or delete iCloud data from your PC (contacts, calendar, reminders, bookmarks, Photo Stream files). Click “Delete.” The data will be saved in iCloud and updated on the device the next time you log into iCloud.
          2. Log in to your account using the updated Apple ID and password.

          Apple tv

          To play content from a Mac or PC on your Apple TV HD, go to the Settings menu “Accounts” iCloud On an Apple TV (3rd generation or earlier), go to the Settings menu iCloud

          App Store, Books Store, and iTunes Store

          Update your Apple ID and password on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, Mac, or Windows PC. On Mac computers with macOS Mojave or earlier, iTunes includes iTunes Genius, iTunes Home Sharing, iTunes Match, iTunes Store, and iTunes U. On Mac computers with macOS Catalina, open Apple Music, Apple TV, or Apple Podcasts instead of iTunes.

          • If you signed in with your previous Apple ID, select Account “Logout”, then “Account” Login and enter your updated Apple ID and password.

          On Mac with macOS Mojave or earlier, open iTunes.

          • If you are signed out, select “Account” Login and enter your updated Apple ID and password.
          • If you signed in with your previous Apple ID, select Account “Logout”, then “Account” Login and enter your updated Apple ID and password.

          Open the Books program.

          • If you are logged out, select “Store” Login and enter your updated Apple ID and password.
          • If you signed in with your previous Apple ID, select Store. “Exit”, then “Shop” Login and enter your updated Apple ID and password.

          Open the App Store.

          • If you’re signed out, click Sign In and enter your updated Apple ID and password.
          • If you signed in with your previous Apple ID, select Store. Sign out, and then click Sign In and enter your updated Apple ID and password.

          Apple tv

          On Apple TV HD, select “Settings” “Accounts” “ITunes Store and App Store.” On an Apple TV (3rd generation or earlier), go to the Settings menu iTunes Store.

          • If you’re signed out, click Sign In and enter your updated Apple ID and password.
          • If you signed in with your previous Apple ID, click Sign Out, then select Sign In and enter your updated Apple ID and password.

          For Home Collection on Apple TV HD, select Preferences “Accounts” “Home collection.” On an Apple TV (3rd generation or earlier), go to the Settings menu “Computers.” Then select Turn Off Home Collection. When you are prompted to confirm the changes, select “Off.” Then select “Enable Home Collection” and enter the updated Apple ID and password.

          Smart TV or media streaming device

          Open Apple Music, Apple TV, or Apple Podcasts.

          • If you are logged out, select “Settings” and then “Account To come in”.
          • If you logged in with your previous Apple ID, select Account, Settings “Logout”, “Settings”, and then “Account” Login and enter your updated Apple ID and password.

          Windows PC

          Open iTunes.

          • If you are signed out, select “Account” Login and enter your updated Apple ID and password.
          • If you signed in with your previous Apple ID, select Account “Logout”, then “Account” Login and enter your updated Apple ID and password.

          Jobs at Apple

          Open the Jobs website at Apple and click “My Profile.”

          • If you’re signed out, click Sign In and enter your updated Apple ID and password.
          • If you signed in with your previous Apple ID, click Sign Out, then select Sign In and enter your updated Apple ID and password.

          Messages

          After updating your Apple ID, your friends will receive messages from your new account. However, past messages are not deleted.

          iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

          Go to the Settings menu “Messages” and press “Send / Receive”.

          • If you’re signed out of your account on iPhone or iPod touch, click “Your Apple ID for iMessage” and enter the updated Apple ID and password. On the iPad, just enter the updated Apple ID or password.
          • If you signed in with your previous Apple ID, click the link with that ID and select Sign Out. To re-enter your account on iPhone or iPod touch, click “Your Apple ID for iMessage” and enter your updated Apple ID or password. On the iPad, just enter the updated Apple ID and password.

          Mac with OS X Mountain Lion or later

          Open the Messages program, select Messages Settings, open the Accounts tab and select your Apple ID from the list of accounts.

          • If you’re signed out, sign in with your updated Apple ID and password.
          • If you are signed in with your previous Apple ID, click Sign Out, and when prompted, confirm by clicking Sign Out again. Log in to your account using the updated Apple ID and password.
