Incorrect operation of the built-in wireless adapter can be one of the reasons why the laptop does not see the wifi network. Incorrect connection parameters can also be the reason why the laptop does not see Wi-Fi. The configuration procedure is carried out in the “Network and Internet” section located in the “Control Panel”. To configure Wi-Fi, in this section, select the “Connect to the network” link and select the required network, click on the “Connect” button. One of the reasons why the laptop does not connect to wifi may be the security setting of the router, namely the set permissions of the MAC filter. The MAC filter is configured directly in the section dedicated to the security of the wireless network located in the settings of the router itself. To allow a laptop to use a Wi-Fi network through a router, an entry must be present in the security settings of the router for connecting the physical address of the network card of this device.
You can access the settings of the router by going to its IP address.
