Well, the portraits, let’s take a look at them. about the same, except that in poor light on the new camera they turn out a little better, but the difference is small. It becomes noticeable when light conditions deteriorate. but both smartphones cannot take night portraits, then the same Pixel 5 would have done them.

The front camera is now also with night mode and with all the goodies of post-processing. In good to medium light, there is an improvement in detail due to Deep Fusion. In poor light on iPhone 12. the front camera makes less noise, apparently a different algorithm.
