Design and functional elements
The design of P8 Lite (2017) seems to be nothing special, but the smartphone immediately disposes to itself. Firstly, the quality of the materials. They are really at a high level. The back and front panels of the gadget are covered with a protective 2.5D glass of white, black or golden color. The material, of course, is slippery, but it looks elegant. over, in light colors on it, fingerprints are practically not visible.

In addition to directly unlocking the smartphone using the biometric sensor of the smartphone, you can take photos, answer calls, turn off the alarm, view pictures and open the notification panel and much more.
Display
Full HD resolution with a diagonal of 5.2 inches provides the screen P8 Lite (2017) a clear and detailed picture.
It uses an IPS matrix with the widest viewing angles, excellent color reproduction and high brightness, which is more than enough for comfortable work with a smartphone even in bright light conditions. However, the manufacturer decided to additionally play it safe and provided for this case also a separate mode of “High Definition in the Sun.”

The control model’s gloves do not support the touch layer of the model, but it doesn’t need to be pressed again. it recognizes up to 10 even the lightest simultaneous touches.
Thus, the only drawback of the P8 Lite display (2017), in my opinion. this is not the best oleophobic coating. Fingerprints are quite noticeable on the screen and they are eliminated with a certain effort.
Communication opportunities
The image from the screen of the smartphone can be displayed on a TV or monitor using the Mirror Share option.

I was pleased with the opportunity to record the screen, change the desktop style, reply to messages and block notifications directly from the notification panel, and also control the smartphone using movements and voice.
Of the pre-installed programs, I note branded music and players, as well as the fitness utility “Health”.
