The HP Envy 5640 All-in-One inkjet printer is positioned at the top of the Envy range, which replaced the Photosmart. It has a touchscreen, Wi-Fi, SD-card reader and can print front and back, so there are plenty of useful features. It’s supposed to be a r.

Replacing the excellent Photosmart 6625 was never going to be an easy task, but the HP Envy 5640 hasn’t done a bad job at all. It’s even managed to address some of its predecessor’s faults. Offering all-round performance and an overall better print qualit.
This is a well-specified all-in-one printer, capable of printing automatically to both sides of each sheet of paper (duplexing). It feels expensive, too, with nice touches such as the ultra-secure hinges, which hold up the scanner bed when you need to change ink cartrid.
It looks great, but HP’s expensive Envy 5640 all-in-one printer disappoints on several fronts.
HP’s Photosmart range of printers were a revelation when they first arrived at the beginning of this decade. Taking all the features any self-respecting digital enthusiast could hanker after, and wrapping them up in an elegant package topped off with a de.

Answer: Do uninstall all the installed printer drivers from your computer first. Then re-install the HP 5640 driver using the following driver’s download link. Make sure the HP 5640 printer is turned off while installing. Do turn ON the printer only whenever the driver installer will ask you to connect the printer.
If your printer doesn’t detect there then try to switch the USB port where the printer is connected to the computer.
