How to Turn on Bluetooth on Iphone 8

Depending on which program is being used, a warning may be displayed indicating the need to turn on Bluetooth before pairing with the accessory via Bluetooth. Go to the Settings menu “Privacy” and click Bluetooth. Then turn on Bluetooth for the programs you want to use.

Pairing a device and a Bluetooth accessory

  1. On your device, go to the Settings menu Bluetooth and turn on Bluetooth. Stay on this screen until you have completed all the steps for pairing an accessory.
  2. Put the accessory in detection mode and wait until it appears on the device’s screen. If the accessory does not appear or you do not know how to put it into detection mode, review the instructions supplied with it or contact the manufacturer.
  3. To create a pair, click the name of the accessory when it appears on the screen. You may need to enter a PIN or passkey. If you do not know the PIN code or access key assigned to the accessory, check the documentation that came with it.

Breaking a pair with a Bluetooth accessory

To break a pair with a Bluetooth accessory, go to the Settings menu Bluetooth, select the desired accessory, tap the information button, and then “Forget this device.” This will remove the accessory from the list of available Bluetooth devices.

To add the Bluetooth accessory to the device again, put it into discovery mode and repeat the above steps to pair with it.
