How to remove Unc0ver jailbreak

Step 1: First you need to disable the automatic device lock. To do this, go to Settings Screen and brightness Auto lock. Choose option “Never“. Also make sure that you do not have power-saving mode, which automatically locks the device after 30 seconds.

Step 2: Make sure your device has the latest unc0ver jailbreak version for iOS 12. To do this, simply remove the tool application from your device and download the latest version from the link attached below.

Step 3: Open the uncover application, select the settings at the bottom of the screen, scroll down and enable the “Restore RootFS (rec0ver)“.

Step 4: Return to unc0ver application main screen and press the button Re–Jailbreak (it may also be called a jailbreak).

Step five: On the message that appears, click OK. Next, recovery begins, which can take up to 15 minutes. After that you will have unc0ver and Cydia icons.

Step 6: Uninstall unc0ver if you no longer need it. As for Cydia, technically there is no application on your device, and to delete the icon you need to do a full reset.

Step 7a: If you are ready to reset, this will delete your personal data. Here you will need a backup. If you are ready, go to Settings General Reset Erase content and settings. After the reset, you can restore your data from the copy via iTunes. It is very important not to restore the device completely, otherwise you will not be able to jailbreak in the future.
