In iOS 10, the standard Music app has been updated with the convenient Storage Optimization feature. It automatically deletes music from your iPhone or iPad that you haven’t turned on for a long time, and thereby free up precious free space. Its analogue for Mac and Windows has not yet been written. but this does not mean at all that apple computers cannot be cleaned of unnecessary music data.
