How to Manage Your Apple Watch

Beginning of work

Here is what you need:

  • Paired Apple Watch and iPhone.
  • Keynote for iOS 2.5.3 or later on iPhone. Open Keynote for iOS 2.5.3 or later on iPhone at least once before using Keynote on Apple Watch.
  • Keynote on the Apple Watch. Use the Apple Watch app on iPhone to install the latest Keynote. To verify that the installation was successful, open the Apple Watch app on iPhone, then tap My Watch. Keynote “Display on the Apple Watch.”

Keynote works best with these settings:

  1. On the Apple Watch, open the Settings app on the Home screen.
  2. Click General “Activate screen.”
  3. Turn on “Asset. when lifting the wrist. “
  4. In the “Return” list, select “Previous Actions.”

You can also check the settings using the iPhone:

  1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and go to the My Watch tab.
  2. Click General “Activate screen.”
  3. Turn on “Asset. when lifting the wrist. “
  4. In the “When raising your wrist” list, select “Continue the last action.”

Manage your Keynote presentation with the Apple Watch

Using the Apple Watch, you can control the presentation on your iPhone if:

  • iPhone is connected to an external display using an adapter or AirPlay;
  • No presentation devices, such as a Mac or iPad, paired with Keynote for iOS on iPhone
  • There is an open or currently playing presentation in Keynote for iOS on the iPhone.

You can also use the Apple Watch to manage presentations on another device, such as a Mac, if:

  • Keynote for iOS is open on the Keynote Remote screen;
  • There is a presentation device, such as a Mac or iPad, paired with Keynote for iOS on iPhone, if the iPhone is not connected to an external display using an adapter or AirPlay, and there is no open or playable presentation in Keynote for iOS on iPhone.

Play a presentation or go to the next slide or assembly

When the Keynote presentation is ready, open Keynote on the Apple Watch:

  • If you want to start a slide show, find the “Play” button. Click to start the presentation.
  • If a slideshow is playing, the Next button will be displayed. Click to go to the next slide or assembly.

Return or exit presentation

Forcefully tap the screen to display the following options:

  • Click the back button, go to the previous slide, or reset assemblies on the current slide.
  • Click the Finish button to end the slide show.

When you select a button, the Apple Watch will display both, and until the Keynote presentation is complete or until the Apple Watch goes into sleep mode.
