Maxim Rasporsky

Main author and editor at gurudroid.net. I write high-quality and structured instructions for setting up Android devices. I also keep a YouTube channel on which in video format I show the implementation of certain steps to achieve the desired result.

In general, let’s return to the topic of why there is no Play Market at all in devices from the Celestial Empire originally. And after a long study of the information on the web, the author came to the conclusion that it is simply prohibited there.

I can’t say for sure if this is really the case, but a lot of people tend to think this way. But come on, we will not focus on this point for a long time. Let’s move on to the technical work.

So the first thing we need is to have the root access, without it you can’t do anything. After all, all operations with copying files we need, we will do in the system directories:

Next, you will need to download this archive and unzip it to the flash drive of our miracle mirror:

After that, you have to give all the applications you have just copied the rights with the letter “G”:

And that’s it, my friends, that’s the end of the installation of Play Market` on Android of Chinese origin. You can safely use. But if we talk specifically about our mirror, then there is a nuance.

The point is that for some reason the native visual menu stubbornly does not see the installed by us app store. But this problem is quite easy to solve. Look what the author has done.

Turn on the Wi-Fi on our gadget and connect to the access point, which was organized on the personal smartphone:

Then we launch the device’s native Internet browser:

And in its search box we enter the phrase “Play Market”:

Of course, maybe someone will find this way of launching a little kolhozny, but, as for me, I do not see any problems here. Now all that’s left is to log in to the installed Play Market:

Now a few words about what the author of the article himself installed in the first place. And here’s what. Of course, it is a full-fledged Russian keyboard, because it is the basis of everything:

In the end, the language settings of the Android system has a normal choice:

Then an alternative browser was installed:

That’s the way it is, bunny brethren. That’s the end of the story of how to install Play Market on Chinese Android. As the saying goes, the one who listened is the real deal.

And finally, another creative video from the flamboyant group “Leningrad”.

Downloading first on computer hardware

For those who prefer a desktop computer, it is possible to download the ARC file with the progoy, and then install on the mobile gadget manually. First option:

  • Go to the Google Play page and copy the address;
  • APK-dl.com paste a copy of the address into the search box, press “GO”;
  • in the window that will open, select “Download APK File”.
  • On the page of the service you copy the address;
  • on the resource https://apps.evozi.com/APK-downloader/ paste the address into the search bar;
  • in the new window look for “Click here to download”.

This way you can quickly download a file to your computer equipment, and then send it to your smartphone with the cord. The principle of installing the program is similar for all devices that run on Android.

Open the “Security” section, find the “Unknown Sources” feature there, and check the box next to it.

Enabling the Unknown Sources feature

In most firmware of smartphones and tablets of popular brands this application is present by default, which can not be said about devices from less well-known Chinese manufacturers who do not consider it necessary to install the program on their gadgets.

This, of course, is not good, but not critical, because you can install the Play Store separately. From this article you will learn how to install the Play Store on Android and what you need to do. Possible problems

The chances of encountering problems when installing Google services via recovery are minimal, but there are still. We offer a list of the most common problems associated with installing Open GApps on your smartphone.

Error 70 in TWRP. Most often, difficulties arise in the case when the manufacturer of the gadget has allotted for the system memory partition too small volume, in which the downloaded package simply does not fit. In such a situation TWRP will display error code 70 when trying to install the zip file.

In this situation you are likely to be able to install a smaller package. micro, nano or even pico. and you can always download additional programs not included in these packages from Google Play.

But if you can’t install even a pico package on your smartphone, then the problem is more serious and lies in the improperly formatted system partitions. To resolve it, perform the following steps:

  • download the official firmware to the memory card as a zip file;
  • perform a hardware reset (Factory Reset) of the smartphone via recovery;
  • reinstall the firmware;
  • without rebooting your smartphone, go to Wipe and then to Advanced Wipe;
  • select the system section and press the Repair or change file system button;
  • Press Repair File System and Resize File System buttons one by one.

Now try to install the GApps package again. most likely the error will disappear.

Error 20 in TWRP. This error code shows that the firmware of your device is not compatible with the selected Open GApps package. Most likely you just selected wrong Android version when downloading the package, and you just need to download and install the correct package to solve the problem.

Error 64 in TWRP. Code 64 also says that you have installed an incompatible GApps package, but this time it is all about the architecture. Check if the architecture of processor used in your gadget is correct. You can check it either at official website of the chipset or using applications like AIDA64.

Errors 10 and 30. These codes appear if your recovery is outdated and doesn’t support certain features required to install Open GApps. In this case, we recommend installing the latest version of recovery TWRP, which includes all the necessary tools.

Google Play doesn’t launch. This situation sometimes occurs when installing old GApps builds. In most cases the problem is solved by downloading the latest version of Google Play as an APK file and installing it on your smartphone manually.
