- Download AIDA 64 software.
- Launch it.

Entering UEFI Settings from Windows 10
To use this method, Windows 10 must be installed in UEFI mode (as a rule, it is), and you must be able to either log into the OS itself, or at least get to the login screen with a password.
In the first case, you just need to click on the notification icon and select All options. Then open Update and Security in the settings and go to the Recovery item.
In the recovery, click the Restart now button under Special boot options. After the computer restarts, you will see a screen that is the same (or similar) to the one below.
Select Diagnostics, then Advanced Options, in the advanced options UEFI Firmware Options and finally confirm your intention by clicking the Restart button.
After the reboot, you will be taken to the BIOS or, more precisely, UEFI (just out of habit, the settings of the motherboard are usually called BIOS, probably this will continue in the future).
In the event that you cannot log into Windows 10 for some reason, but you can get to the login screen, you can also go to the UEFI settings. To do this, on the login screen, press the power button, and then, while holding down the Shift key, click Restart and you will be taken to the special boot options for the system. Further steps have already been described above.
How to enter BIOS (UEFI) in Windows 10
One of the most common questions regarding the latest OS versions from Microsoft, including Windows 10, is how to enter BIOS. At the same time, it is more often available in the form of UEFI (often characterized by the presence of a graphical settings interface), a new version of the motherboard software, which replaced the standard BIOS, and is intended for the same configuration of the equipment operation, boot options and obtaining information about the system state.
Due to the fact that Windows 10 (as well as 8) implements a fast boot mode (which is a hibernation option), when you turn on your computer or laptop, you may not see an invitation like Press Del (F2) to enter Setup, which allows you to enter BIOS by pressing Del (for PC) or F2 (for most laptops). Nevertheless, getting into the desired settings is easy.
Logging into BIOS when you turn on the computer
There is also a traditional, well-known method to enter the BIOS (suitable for UEFI), press the Delete key (for most PCs) or F2 (for most laptops) immediately when the computer is turned on, even before the OS starts to boot. As a rule, on the boot screen below the inscription is displayed: Press Key_Name to enter setup. If there is no such inscription, you can familiarize yourself with the documentation for the motherboard or laptop, there should be such information.
For Windows 10, entering the BIOS in this way is complicated by the fact that the computer boots up really quickly, and it is not always possible to press this key (or even see a message about which one).
To solve this problem, you can: disable the fastboot function. To do this, in Windows 10, right-click on the Start button, select Control Panel from the menu, and power supply in the Control Panel.
On the left, click Power button actions, and on the next screen, Change settings that are currently unavailable.
At the bottom, in the Shutdown Options section, uncheck Enable Fast Startup and save the changes. After that, turn off or restart your computer and try to enter BIOS using the required key.
Note: in some cases, when the monitor is connected to a discrete card, you may not see the BIOS screen, as well as information about the keys to enter it. In this case, reconnecting it to the integrated graphics adapter can help (HDMI, DVI, VGA outputs on the motherboard itself).
How to enter BIOS in a Samsung laptop and how to update it

Let’s divide the BIOS startup process into 2 stages. So let’s go
Stage 1: how to enter the boot menu
There are two completely different ways.
The first is with a specially performed laptop reboot. This is the recommended way.
The second is useful as a last resort if you cannot log in to configure the settings of the first method.
Correct reboot option
Just slide your mouse vertically along the right edge of the screen until a pop-up menu appears. You can also call it using the keyboard by pressing Win C.
Next, click Settings, then Change computer settings. Then press Update and Restore.

Extreme method
I have applied this method once when my laptop crashed severely after updating one of the applications. The laptop hung at the start and did not want to display an authorization window. Hence, I could not login to the system to do a reboot with special parameters.

This is done like this (I performed these steps on a Samsung product):

- Launch by pressing the power button.

Stage 2: BIOS launch
If you did everything correctly, then you will see the system boot menu, in which you should click on the Diagnostics item.
Next, click on Advanced Options.
And then on UEFI Firmware Settings
Go to the final launch phase, press Restart.
The screen will turn off and after a short (or maybe a long) time you will see the BIOS screen:

In my case, in the browser I need to go to the Samsung website and enter the full model name (written on the bottom of the laptop case): NP350V5C-S1JRU
After pressing the Enter button, a list appears in which we select an item from the Firmware category
Next, scroll down the screen and find Update Software, click on it, which leads to downloading the BIOSUpdate.Exe file
Since I downloaded it from the official Samsung website, I can safely launch it
And update the BIOS of the laptop:
In my case, the latest update has already been installed. If you have a new version available, you just have to press the last button to update the BIOS.
