How To Disassemble A Nokia 7070 Prism Phone

Used tools

Remove the back cover. To do this, slide it in the direction of the arrows.

Take out the battery and SIM card.

Open the phone and remove the decorative covers that the screws hide. Pry the linings with your fingernail.

Remove the two screws under the covers.

Remove the front of the phone. To do this, insert the tool for disassembling the cases (or a credit card) into the slot between the parts of the case, and slide it along the perimeter of the case to separate the latches that hold the parts of the case together.

Your phone will look like this.

Tilt the board with the matrix, but do not try to remove it. it is connected by a cable from below. You need a connector circled in the photo. Pry it up and pull it up out of the connector.

Now you can remove the matrix.

Assemble in the reverse order.
