What is Screen Mirroring for?
The Screen Mirroring function duplicates the screen of a Samsung smartphone or tablet to a Samsung TV wirelessly. Everything you do on your smartphone or tablet will be displayed on the TV.
What technique is Screen Mirroring
1. Samsung N, M, Q, LS, K, J, F-series TVs (depending on model).
2. Samsung Galaxy series smartphones and tablets (model dependent).
To find out if there is Screen Mirroring on your model, call or write support.
If your smartphone, tablet or TV does not support Screen Mirroring
Use Smart View to transfer pictures, music, or to your TV. Files must be in the internal memory or on the memory card of the smartphone / tablet. The program works even with iOS.
How to set up Screen Mirroring
Before uninstalling, check the version of Android on your device.
If your smartphone or tablet works on Android 9
Press the “Source” button on the TV remote control and select “Screen Mirroring” from the list of signal sources. If you have an N, M, Q, LS or K-series TV, skip this step and continue to the next.
Swipe the screen from top to bottom to open the quick settings panel.
Swipe again to maximize the panel.
Swipe from left to right to open advanced settings.
Click Smart View.
The smartphone / tablet starts searching for the TV. Select the TV you want to connect to from the list.
The smartphone / tablet starts connecting to the TV. A connection request may appear on the TV. Allow it.
After connecting, the image from the smartphone or tablet appears on the TV screen.
If your smartphone or tablet works on Android 8, 7
Press the “Source” button on the TV remote control and select “Screen Mirroring” from the list of signal sources. If you have an N, M, Q, LS or K-series TV, skip this step and continue to the next.
Swipe the screen from top to bottom to open the quick settings panel.
Swipe again to maximize the panel.
Swipe from left to right to open advanced settings.
Click on the item “Smart View”.
The smartphone / tablet starts searching for the TV. Select the TV you want to connect to from the list.
The smartphone / tablet starts connecting to the TV.
After connecting, the image from the smartphone or tablet appears on the TV screen.
If your smartphone or tablet works on Android 6
Press the “Source” button on the TV remote control and select “Screen Mirroring” from the list of signal sources. If you have an N, M, Q, LS or K-series TV, skip this step and continue to the next.
Swipe the screen from top to bottom to open the quick settings panel.
Select “Quick Connect.”
The smartphone / tablet starts searching for the TV. Select a TV from the list.
Select “Smart View”.
The smartphone / tablet starts connecting to the TV.
After connecting, the image from the smartphone or tablet appears on the TV screen.
If your smartphone or tablet works on Android 5, 4
Press the “Source” button on the TV remote control and select “Screen Mirroring” from the list of signal sources. If you have an N, M, Q, LS or K-series TV, skip this step and continue to the next.
Open the menu on your smartphone or tablet.
Select “Settings.”
Select “Screen Mirroring” (“All Share Cast”).
The smartphone / tablet starts searching for the TV. Select a TV from the list.
The smartphone / tablet will start connecting to it.
After connecting, the image from the smartphone or tablet appears on the TV screen.
