Android has recently implemented a security system that prevents a new user from reusing a stolen or found smartphone. So, if you’ve forgotten your own Google account password, have no way to recover it, and want to link your Samsung smartphone to a new account, you need to do the following:

Go to the recovery. To do this, turn off your smartphone and turn it on by pressing a certain combination of keys (usually the power, home page and volume buttons are pressed simultaneously).

In the recovery do a complete system reset to factory settings. All user information on your smartphone will be deleted.

Restart the system. You will see a message telling you to enter your username and password.

In this case we can assume that there is simply no such protection, but it is good that during a factory reset all user files are deleted, which means that they will not reach an intruder. We should note the following: the situation is complicated by the fact that with the large number of Android smartphone manufacturers, and an even greater number of models, there is simply no single universal solution for all devices. So now we will look at a few proven options.

How to avoid the problem of resetting

To avoid getting in an unpleasant situation, do not forget to use the option provided by the developers. To do this before performing a reset, go to “Settings”, select the section “Accounts” (can be “Accounts”), find “Google”, open.
