On Tuesday, Sept. 6, Xiaomi announced that it would launch its Redmi 11 Prime 5G, Redmi 11 Prime 4G, and Redmi A1 in India.

Ahead of the launch of the smartphones, the Chinese electronics giant has revealed several details about the devices and what fans can expect from them.

Redmi 11 Prime 5G Specs

According to YugaTech, the Redmi 11 Prime 5G is the most powerful smartphone out of the Redmi series. It has a Dimensity 700 chip and two memory options: 4/64 GB and 6/128 GB.

The smartphone has a 6.58" LCD with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The waterdrop notch houses a 5MP f/2.2 camera.

The Redmi 11 Prime 5G has a main 50MP camera at the back equipped with an f/1.8 lens and a 2MP depth sensor.

Redmi 11 Prime 5G will have MIUI 3 instead of Android 12. Its battery has a 5,000mAh capacity, and it supports 18W charging.

The other highlights include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a tray meant for two SIM cards and a microSD card, an FM Radio, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Redmi 11 Prime 5G is available in Chrome Silver, Thunder Black, and Meadow Green colors. The sale schedule is on Sept. 9, and the device costs $160 for a 4/64 GB option, while the 6/128 GB option costs $185.

Redmi A1 Specs

According to GadgetsNow, Redmi AI will run on Android 12. It has a leathery finish on the back, and on the inside, it is equipped with an Helio A22 chipset, coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. There is also a MicroSD slot for 512GB storage.

The smartphone has a 6.52" LCD with 720p resolution and a 20:9 ratio. The back of the smartphone has a dual-cam setup similar to the Xiaomi 12 flagship.

However, the main shooter has an 8MP sensor, while the 2MP depth sensor adds very little improvement to the shots. The selfie camera is equipped with a 5MP sensor.

The Redmi A1 has a 5,000 mAh battery, but it has a micro-USB part on the bottom, which can be challenging for charging.

Redmi A1 costs $80, its first flash sale is scheduled for Sept. 9, and it is available in Black, Blue, and Green colors.

Redmi 11 Prime 4G Specs

The Redmi 11 Prime 4G is the cheapest smartphone on the list, but it does have a powerful chipset, the Mediatek Helio G99 SoC. It also uses a 6nm fabrication process, according to TechRadar.

Other features that you can expect from the Redmi 11 Prime 4G are the same as that of the Redmi 11 Prime 5G, especially the back panel design.

The 4G also has the same camera setup, battery, and charging as the Redmi 11 Prime 5G.

Redmi 11 Prime 4G will cost $162, and its first flash sale is scheduled for Sept. 9.
