Meet the only Redmi Note 13 Pro with a microSD slot and arguably, the one that makes the least sense in the lineup - the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G. It's a straight copy of the Poco M6 Pro 4G, or maybe it is the other way around, but with a 200MP main camera.
Xiaomi did the same with the Redmi Note 12 Pro - it launched both 5G and 4G models and kept the same logic for the Redmi Note 13 Pro phones. The 4G version, which we have here today, differs a lot from the 5G - it has a lower-resolution screen, a less powerful chipset, and limited video-capturing options. It does get to keep some niceties like an attractive design, Dolby Vision-capable OLED, the large 200MP primary camera, and the 67W fast charging.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G is another IP54-rated mid-ranger with an attractive design. It brings a 6.67-inch OLED screen of standard 1080p resolution, but it can still boast about its 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,300nits of brightness and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The panel has standard 8-bit color depth and no HDR capabilities.
The 4G Redmi Note 13 Pro is powered by the Helio G99 Ultra chip, which has a decent processor and graphics. The performance should be enough for most daily tasks.
The camera is quite impressive on the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G - it features a 200MP sensor with OIS lens for the primary cam, and then we have the usual 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro and 16MP selfie cameras.
The 4G model supports up to 67W fast charging for the 5,000mAh battery. There are also stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone boots MIUI 14 on top of Android 13.
With the right pricing, this phone should be a good alternative to the regular Redmi Note 13 phones and a cheaper offer than the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G model. We hope it can find its place within the overcrowded Note 13 series.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G retail bundle contains the phone, a 67W power adapter, and a 6A-rated USB-A-to-C cable. There is also a protective case inside the box.
The Note 13 Pro 4G came with a thin film applied on its screen, which will offer enough protection against scratches at the expense of being a huge smudge magnet.
The box itself is a rather plain two-piece cardboard affair. Nothing too fancy. There is no plastic cradle for the phone on the inside, but it is still held in place nicely by the cardboard inserts.
And Poco F6 family released without 3.5mm jack and microsd card slot. Poco F5 at least had 3.5mm port. What a silly joke.
Got mine today for 100 EUR and bonus Xiaomi Redmi Buds 4 Active. No 5G where i live, not a gamer, so for me is fine. At 4 years of usage my Redmi Note 8 Pro is going in drawer still in perfect condition (no scratches, 2 days battery life).
Right now the device costs about 210$. And no other phone at this price can give you camera, design and sound this phone gives. Most cost effective mid ranger in the world 🌎
