MicroLED please and lose the mega-bezels; there is NO need!

A well appreciated and needed feature is LTPO (1-60Hz). The current watches refresh a static 60Hz and can be a battery hog.
CamoGeko-XDA, 15 May 2024Don't think that will get me to change from oneplus watch 2. Maybe not for you, but I'm ready with my wallet.
I'll be considering Samsung Ring vs Classic 7.
I like Samsung watches because they work well with all smartphones.
Will any of them have rotating bezel? Or very small bezels after all? Watch 6 has ugly big bezels that's why I bought 6 Classic. You look at it and inside of that rotating bezel is full screen.
Android watch OS (much like Apple), is pretty battery hungry. Samsung should find ways to have deeper sleep functionality, using single low power cores, to have much longer battery life. Samsung watches do many things right. They need to improve efficiency a bit more.
The new Watch 7 series will have a square watch, a round classic watch with a rotating bezel, and a pro model. Later, there will be an affordable Watch FE model that will be released alongside the S24 FE.
I hope it has an ultra low power mode like the OnePlus watch 2 or Ticwatch

Samsung realised a long time ago to not use miniaturised phone and tablet processors for watches. That is why Samsung is so far ahead. Snapdragon's latest processor isn't terrible. It would be a decent midrange option to the three years old Exyons W920, if it wasn't for the fact that the Exyons is likely also a lot cheaper to make, being a 3-4 years old design. Apple's options are a joke in this context. Just look at how massive Apple has to make watches to give them 1+ days battery life. I've seen phones smaller than the Apple Watch Ultra. Meanwhile, my two years old Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is still delivering 100+ between charges, without using any power saving features or turning off any smart features.
Mechanical Watches can run forever.

For the Oneplus watch 2, i kinda have to agree, but I’m not a fan of rounded smartwatches.
Will it beat the W5+ Gen 1 ?
I have the TicWatch 5 Pro, it never lagged for me, also the battery life is great. The good thing about the Samsung watches are the great integration with Samsung phones
Sorry Scamsung
