Using dual-stack OLED displays alone should only increase the lifespan by 100% (or increase the lifespan to 200%).

"The press materials promise just 1% brightness degradation after 3 years of use and boast a 600% increased lifespan."
Sod the 'magnificent' screens..... We're getting a calculator app🙄🙄

DeepIn2U, 30 Apr 2024And whom makes the best OLED panels on the market ?
Samsung does!!I beg to differ sir. My opinion ofc. I think LG has better OLED.
I see them side by side and Samsung is more saturated. LG too, but it has more natural looking colors than Samsung's.
Both are superior OLEDs
what makes this panel different to all the already existing oled panels ? brightness? contrast >
haha Knowing apple they will probably announce it as the ground breaking feature
Ouifuf, 30 Apr 2024Unpopular opinion but I like having larger bezels on my tablets. Makes it easier to hold I agree, thicker bezels of tablets mean your fingers don’t cover the screen and there is more to hold on to. They have already got thin enough in my opinion.
Anonymous, 30 Apr 2024Human do see lots of colours. But you are kind of right about 60Hz. Human eye retains a image ... moreLOL.
Better be OLED with 120hz, HDR10 (not plus*), Dolby Vision as well as the same or better nits.
*Apple does not use HDR10+ because Samsung (Amazon and so on) is the creator and owner of it. Even though HDR10+ is completely free to everyone, Apple refuses to use it. Not sure why. I guess them and Dolby are in a contract
jerem06, 30 Apr 2024If you can't see the difference between a 30 fps and 60 fps video, you need to wear glassesGlasses won't help you with this issue. If you can't tell the difference between 30 a 60 fps, it would be rarely an eye problem, it is neurological - aka brain is the problem here.
Just like they claimed the Mini LED screens were the best when they were probably the worst screen ever made, blooming issues and inconsistent quality control. All iPad screens have something wrong, Mini has jelly scrolling, Air has book spine/ unevenness issues and the base iPad has a decade old un-laminated LCD!
I mean, it's got a 120Hz LTPO stacked Flexible AMOLED screen that can do HDR and probably has like a 1,600 nit peak brightness, that's like a peak endgame tablet until MicroLED/phisoelectric panel technology (pixels emit different colours based on electricity that changes its wavelength, therefore not needing subpixels; it's still being tested in labs). This is just amazing.
I'd never buy it because I hate Apple's walled garden approach, but the hardware is extremely good. I want to see this become standardised on tablets, laptops, TVs, monitors and more, at least at the high-end.

Anonymous, 30 Apr 2024Wrong, Samshill. Samsung phones have always either been too saturated or too muted. iPhone hit... moreThis is false: the Galaxy S24s have a Delta E around 1 (below 3 the color differentiation is not perceptible). The color temperature edt located at 6500 or even 6800K depending on the model, therefore perfect or close to prefection. You talk nonsense
