In the Galaxy S10, Samsung has leveraged the design of its flagship models of yesteryear. At the same time, if we talk about continuity, then in the appearance of this smartphone there is practically nothing left of last year’s Galaxy S9.

Samsung decided to make the S10 look more like the Galaxy Note line, with less rounded corners and a camera stack similar to the Note8 and Note9.

They have fast focus, are quick to start up and shoot great in any light. The results are also typical for Samsung, that is, overexposed with the white balance to the warmer side. If you didn’t like the photos from the Galaxy S9, you won’t like it here either.

In principle, such dimensions are the norm for modern flagships, but due to the slippery coating, the phone will have to get used to. So in terms of ergonomics, the S10 version is slightly inferior to the S10e configuration, which fits better in the hand, because it is smaller. But the hero of our review is more convenient than his older “brother” (he is ideal only for ardent fans of dimensional “tiles”).

As for the overall design of the Samsung Galaxy S10:

    The front panel is occupied by a 6.1-inch bezel-less touch screen with a built-in ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. In the upper right corner of the display there is a built-in front camera module (there is only one for the S10). The lens looks very neat and takes up a minimum of space, so it does not interfere with the work. over, the smartphone has by default a special wallpaper with a darkened top, which completely hides the module. In games and movies, the front lens is visible, but the eye does not hurt.

The rear panel houses a horizontally oriented module consisting of 3 cameras and an LED flash. Perhaps this is the most controversial decision of Korean engineers. First, the module sticks out a lot. In addition, the lenses have a black bezel that creates a powerful contrast to the aquamarine and mother-of-pearl. On the right side is the power button. And here we have identified another unpleasant disadvantage. The fact is that the key is placed too high, which is why it is inconvenient to reach for it. Even right-handed users will face difficulties; For left-handers, using the Galaxy S10 can be disastrously inconvenient at all.

On the left side, the engineers placed the volume rocker and the Bixby function button. The last control can be customized. For example, a single click can be assigned a call to the Samsung assistant, and a double click can be used to open any frequently used application (or vice versa).
