Change Apple Id

Apple ID is an account that allows iPhone owners to access various resources of the company. IPhone users may need it in a wide variety of situations: for purchases in the iTunes Store, App Store, when using iCloud, and much more.

The need to change the identifier may arise, for example, in the case of buying a phone with a hand. You can only change your Apple ID if you use the mailbox that was registered with Yandex, Mail.ru, or similar sites as an identifier. If the mail ends on @ icloud.com, @ maс.com or @ me.сom, then, unfortunately, you will not be able to change it.

Using a computer

There are several options for changing your identifier. You can change it using a computer based on Windows and Mac OS X, or, for example, using a tablet. To do this, simply go to the Apple ID management page, and then go through the authorization procedure, indicating the existing identifier and password.

After that, you will see the item “Manage name, ID and e-mail address”, where opposite the line “Apple ID and primary e-mail” you just need to click “Change”. All you have to do is enter your new email. A link will be sent to the specified address to confirm the changes. The Apple ID on your iPhone will change as soon as you click on it.

Using iTunes

If you chose iTunes to change the data, then you need to run the program and go to the “Shop” section. On the left side of the screen, find the “Login” item. Then go through the authorization procedure. After clicking the button with your Apple ID, a menu will appear where you need to select the “Account” option.

Next, on the “Account Information” page, click on the “Edit” section, and then enter the new email address in the corresponding field. After clicking “Finish”, an email will be sent to the specified address, in which the link will be placed, for confirmation.

You can also use the App Store app on your iPhone to change your Apple ID. After completing the authorization procedure, find the “Apple ID:” Your Identifier “button in the menu. After that, on the “Account” page, click on the line with the current account and simply enter a new mailing address.

Click Finish to complete. An e-mail, as in previous cases, will receive an email with a link. After clicking on it, the changes will be able to take effect.

Here, in the iPhone Settings, you can create a new account to change the old one. To do this, you need to exit the current account (the third screenshot in the image above, the “Exit” link), and then select “Create a new Apple ID”, then follow the instructions. To register another account, you will need to specify a new mailbox, country, password, date of birth and security questions.

Security questions are designed to keep your iPhone safe. In the future, this will prevent any attempts to change the password or any other information. So, thinking up control questions, try to make them more difficult. When you provide details and come up with questions, enter your credit card information. This will complete the registration process.

Regardless of which way you choose to change data, you should very carefully enter a new email address. If you make even the slightest mistake when entering, you won’t be able to get the link, and therefore you won’t be able to confirm your changes. In this case, the old identifier will no longer work, and you will not be able to access the new one. Then, access to your account will be simply blocked.
