BIOS Setup On Asus Motherboard

Configuring notifications about HDD problems

If you enable HDD Smart Capability, you can receive messages about problems with the hard drive. This is possible thanks to self-diagnostics of the HDD, which is enabled by this function.

How to enter and exit BIOS

In order to proceed with the settings, you need to enter the BIOS. It is very easy to do this; at the very beginning of the computer boot, you need to press the delete key several times. On some versions of motherboards, you may need to press other keys, for example, F12. The motherboard boot menu usually shows which button to press. After all the settings are made, you must press the F10 key and confirm the exit with saving all the new settings that were made.

Choosing a device to download

The computer can be booted from a hard disk, CD drive and other storage media. To speed up the download, you need to set the boot from the HDD in the first position, so that the PC does not waste time trying to boot, for example, from the floppy drive, and only then go to the hard disk. To do this, go to the Advanced BIOS Features section, then to Boot Sequence and at the very first point, set the boot from the HDD, which can be selected in the list of devices.

How to configure ASUS BIOS

Admin 01 October 2014 Hits: 41297

BIOS setup is very important for every computer, because stability and performance of a PC depends entirely on it. BIOS. This is a kind of software firmware located in the chip of the computer’s motherboard and controlling its system operation. The BIOS controls the operation of the processor, cooling fans and all other devices that make up the system unit. If you correctly configure the BIOS, you can achieve higher performance or make the necessary changes to work, so every advanced PC user should understand all the BIOS settings, which we will talk about.

Troubleshooting fan problems

Sometimes the operation of the cooler can cause a conflict with the BIOS settings, and the computer will stop working. But, in fact, the fan speed is enough to cool the processor. This is due to the dependence of the processor temperature on the fan speed. To eliminate the reason for the inability to boot into the BIOS, go to the CPU Fan Failur Warning section and disable this option by setting Disabled. After that, you need to temporarily install the cooler operating at maximum speed so that you can load the BIOS, perform the configuration and then return the old fan to its place.

Burst data transfer

In some versions of ASUS BIOS and others, it is possible to enable packet data transfer mode. This can be done if the BIOS has a Burst mode function that must be enabled. As a result, data transfer between RAM and hard drive will be much faster.

How to make your PC boot faster

If you decide to speed up the computer boot, then after entering the BIOS menu, you need to go to the Main item and set the Timeout value to 0. As a result, the operating system on the computer will immediately boot from the hard disk. The fact is that if you do not change this parameter, then the computer starts looking for all devices and only then selects the boot from the hard drive, which increases its time.

How to turn off the built-in sound card

If you connect an external sound card to your computer that provides a higher sound quality, then the built-in one must be disabled. This can be done using the BIOS menu, in which you need to find and turn off the AC97 Audio Select parameter.

How to enable processor cache in BIOS

Each processor has such a high-speed memory as a cache, thanks to which the processor and the computer itself can work much better. But in BIOS it can be disabled in the standard settings. In order to check this, you need to go to the Advanced BIOS Features section, find the CPU L3 Cache parameter and enable it. After that, the work of the central processor on the PC will be faster and more efficient.

How to flash BIOS on asus motherboard?

This question has been plowed up and down by Internet users, moreover, more than once. Hundreds of sites are browsed by users of the worldwide network in order to achieve a somewhat intelligible answer to the question of how to flash the BIOS on an Asus motherboard. Based on silent cries for help, and comments on thematic forums, we concluded that this article should be!

From now on you can exhale, sit down and calm down, now we will figure it out step by step:

  • Why do people seek to flash BIOS on a laptop?
  • And how to do it right?

This is permissible and justified if:

  • You want to upgrade your hardware, but on condition that a later version of the motherboard BIOS provides the ability to replace the existing processor with a more powerful one, which is created thanks to advanced technologies. And also with a combination of all characteristics, information about which can be seen on the manufacturer’s website.
  • Modification of the considered brand of the board, which is combined with the parameters of a specifically selected processor, which will have to be installed.

When the above conditions are combined, the opportunity opens up when you can raise the performance of your laptop to the highest level, due to deep, and more subtle, settings in the BIOS.

Well, the conditions are met. You tell me what will be required next? We answer. Inspiration and desire, which will come in handy when mastering our material. Well, and straight arms, of course! Curves are corrected by experience. So, let’s get down to the question of how to flash the BIOS on an Asus motherboard?

Before starting the firmware, you need to realize that this is a crucial step, where you need to throw all the pros and cons to the scales. And you also need to stock up on an uninterruptible power supply so that in case of an accidental power outage, there is no failure in the system. Of course, there are motherboards that, in the event of an unsuccessful flashing, can “roll back” everything back to the factory settings, but, alas, not all motherboards can do this. Now you are terrified, and you understand how serious this step is, so you need to measure it 7 times and reflash once. And if, nevertheless, you decided, then let’s proceed.

So, mankind knows three ways to flash BIOS on a motherboard:

  • By resorting to DOS mode;
  • Using Windows mode;
  • Using the utility provided by the motherboard manufacturer for flashing the BIOS from the BIOS itself without leaving DOS or Windows.

How to properly update the BIOS on an ASUS motherboard

ASUS is the most popular motherboard manufacturer

Asus is one of the largest motherboard manufacturers today. These boards have gained popularity due to the ability to customize the BIOS, as well as hardware capabilities and competitive prices. In addition, Asus is constantly updating the version for various models, and therefore the question often arises of how to update the BIOS asus. This process has now been SIMplified to the extreme.

Upgrade tips

No matter how you update the BIOS, during the firmware you cannot:

BIOS Setup On Asus Motherboard
  • Turn off your computer if you turn it off there is a high probability that the motherboard will fail. For the time of flashing, install an uninterruptible power supply or another type of spare battery (on a laptop, just charge the battery to the maximum), so that if the lights are turned off or there are power outages, you can complete the operation.
  • Press or touch devices other than the keyboard or mouse (if required).
  • Get out a flash card if you install from it.

For installation from a flash drive, its ideal size is up to 512 m / w, sometimes, due to its large size, incompatibility occurs and nothing can be installed.

In order to make sure if you managed to update the BIOS, go into it and see the version. It should be different, not as before installation.

Attention! If you do not have the slightest idea about a computer, do not overestimate your strengths, otherwise you risk making everything worse. Contact a specialist.

After reading the article, you probably figured out what to update the BIOS. It is not a difficult task. After updating it, your computer will run faster and your main tasks will be solved. But it should be understood that updating, without specific skills, can only aggravate the situation. Before flashing the BIOS, think: Do you need this? If your answer is “yes”, then good luck and success in mastering computer science.!

Flashing BIOS using the utility (AFUDOS)

Updating the BIOS of an ASUS device in this way is possible in the following sequence:

  • We go exclusively to the official ASUS website and download the Afudos utility;
  • Create a bootable USB flash drive;
  • Open the prepared USB flash drive and drop the Afudos program there, the file name is afudos.Exe;
  • Reboot the laptop and click on one of the “Del”, F11 or F2 buttons (this is individual for each computer);
  • Before us appears the BIOS menu, go to the Boot tab and put the USB flash drive in the first position, for this, in the 1st Boot Device item, select Removable Device;
  • Confirm the changes by pressing the F10 button;
  • The computer will boot from the flash drive and will be admitted to further work;
  • The start of the flashing process will begin after writing afudos /ip4c800b.Rom (the name of the file with the new BIOS version), then press Enter. This will be the start of the firmware.
  • After completing the firmware, we take out the USB flash drive, restart the computer.

How to update BIOS on asus motherboard

BIOS. Basic input / output system. “basic input-output system”. In general terms, this is the motherboard software that is responsible for the operation of all parts of the computer. This software is not available. No working computer. In this article, we will take a closer look at the question: how to update the ASUS BIOS.

Each user who decides to update (reflash) the BIOS should understand that this is a serious measure and should not be done just like that. If the attempt is unsuccessful, then you can get serious problems, for example: the motherboard will stop working. Here are the most common reasons for updating BIOS:

  • Changing hardware to newer versions, often replacing the processor;
  • Manufacturer’s recommendation.

Before flashing the I / O base, check the list of changes that are present in the new BIOS version to see if it is relevant for you. In other cases, if the computer is functioning normally, it is better not to go into the BIOS.

Preparing to upgrade

Attention! Updates on a laptop and a personal computer are the same, with very rare exceptions.

  • First of all, you need to find out the model (preferably and revision) of your motherboard. This can be done in the following ways:
  • On the packaging of branded products;
  • The board itself usually has its name;
  • Using special programs (AIDA 64, HWInfo).
  • Then find out the BIOS version, for this go into it (during the reboot it presses without stopping F2 or Delete) and look for the inscription “Version”, remember or write everything on a piece of paper.
  • Now go to the official ASUS website (https://www.Asus.com/ru). Follow the path “Service”. “Support” find your motherboard (according to the data that you learned earlier).
  • Go to your motherboard page and click “Drivers and Utilities”.
  • In the drop-down insert, select your operating system.
  • See if there is a BIOS version higher than the one we already have installed.
  • If so, click on “. BIOS ”and select the latest firmware version. On this page you can also see what has changed in a particular version. To download it, click on “Global”. The downloaded archive contains the update file.
  • The actual implementation of the flashing can be done in several ways. Consider them below.

    • You can download a small program “Asus Live Update” in the same place where you downloaded the firmware itself. Download, install and go to it; choose “UpdateBIOSfromfile”.
    • Then find the firmware file itself, previously extracted from the archive.
    • The program will automatically update everything and require rebooting your PC or laptop. Do not run any third-party programs during the update.

    Attention! Not all ASUS motherboards can be upgraded this way.

    • Unzip the update file downloaded from the site along the path: C. BIOS.
    • Reboot your PC or laptop and go to BIOS (during reboot, press F2 or Delete without stopping).
    • Select the “Advanced” tab. Find “StartEasyFlash” in it. Going there, you should find the firmware file along the path where it was transferred (C. BIOS). You can also launch this utility on reboot by pressing F4, but not all Asus computers have such an input.
    • Next comes the update. After it completes, restart your device.

    The above methods of flashing the BIOS were the SIMplest. If, for some reason, it was not possible to update the I / O base, you can do it manually. To carry out your plan, follow these steps:

    • Create a bootable USB stick. This is very easy to do with the MKBT app. All data from the flash drive will be deleted.
    • Transfer the BIOS update file (extension:.Rom) to the finished USB flash drive, and the installation file there, for example Afudos.Exe. Download everything on the Internet and see that the extension matches the files presented by us.
    • Restart your computer and press F8, then select boot from the USB flash drive (there will be its name). If you cannot enter this way, enter through BIOS (First Boot Device) and do the same operations there.
    • In the menu that appears, enter: afudos (space) / (firmware file name).Rom. Press “Enter”.
    • The firmware will start. After it finishes, restart your computer.

    Flashing in DOS mode

    Above, we figured out that the first thing before flashing BIOS is to determine which manufacturer your motherboard belongs to. Then find out its model, version and installed BIOS. And after that we perform the following actions:

    • Download the firmware file that will help you update the BIOS of your “motherboard”, ideally if you download it from the manufacturer’s website;
    • If the manufacturer supports several firmware options, download the file “sharpened” for updating in DOS mode;
    • After that, you will need a blank disk or a small flash drive, format it and make it bootable;
    • We place the previously downloaded file on a prepared digital media.
    • Download on the same manufacturer’s website and the program itself for flashing, for example, it will be awdflash.Exe, and in the autoexec.Bat file we write the path to the firmware file.
    • Just in case, you can protect yourself by specifying the file name to save the current version of BIOS.

    Hardware initialization and performance check

    Most of the motherboard BIOS is made up of firmware for initializing the controllers on the motherboard, as well as devices connected to it, which, in turn, may have controllers with their own BIOS.

    Immediately after turning on the power of the computer during initial boot, using the programs written in the BIOS, the computer’s hardware self-test. POST (power-on self-test) occurs. During POST, the BIOS checks the operability of the controllers on the motherboard, sets the low-level parameters of their operation (for example, the bus frequency and parameters of the central microprocessor, RAM controller, FSB, AGP, PCI, USB bus controllers). If a failure occurs during POST, the BIOS can provide information to help identify the cause of the failure. If it is not possible to display a message on the monitor, the BIOS emits a beep through the built-in speaker.

    Flashing BIOS in Windows Mode

    As for flashing the BIOS of the motherboard in Windows mode, there is a heated debate in which those who dare to update the BIOS in this mode will be defeated. The fact is that it is possible to reflash the “motherboard” in Windows mode, but it is not safe. After all, sometimes the operating system “lives its own life”, and at the most important moment it can fail, and this is fraught with the fact that the error that occurs in this case will be written to the BIOS, and for the “motherboard” it is not a buzz, since it can exit build and write “lost”.

    In this article, we will try to disclose information on setting up the BIOS (BIOS) of your motherboard. New computers are equipped with a new generation BIOS, the so-called UEFI BIOS. This article will cover setting up a BIOS based on this BIOS and an ASUS motherboard. Unlike older AWARD, AMI or AST BIOSes, the UEFI BIOS has a graphical interface and which for many will seem more intuitive.

    Entering BIOS:

    In order for us to enter the BIOS, we need to reboot (or turn on) the computer and immediately after turning on, every one or two seconds press the “DELETE” button until the BIOS interface appears in front of you. In most desktop computers, this button is responsible for entering the BIOS. However, in many laptops, all-in-ones and some other computers, the following buttons may be responsible for entering the BIOS: F2, F4, F10, F12. After entering the UEFI BIOS, we can see the following picture:

    In this case, an ASUS motherboard is installed, you can see a different picture if you have a motherboard of another brand, but the essence will not change because of this. The settings on many motherboards are about the same. Let’s consider in more detail what we can see on the information displayed to us:

    Under the number “1” we see the boot order of devices. In this case, boot from the drive (floppy drive) is installed first. Next to it is booting from the hard disk.

    The second item displays to us all the important information about the operation of our computer. We can see the temperature of our CPU (processor), motherboard, as well as a display of the voltage supplied by our power supply. Recall that a spread of more than 5% is highly undesirable. And finally, we are presented with information about the speed of the cooler on our CPU.

    In the third paragraph, we are shown general information about our PC, the model of the motherboard, the BIOS version, the installed processor model and the amount of RAM.

    And finally, in the last paragraph, we are shown information on the release date of the firmware version of the BIOS and the clock frequency of our processor.

    All of the above information is provided in order to monitor the operation of the computer, in order to enter the BIOS settings menu, we need to click the button that is located at the top right “Exit / AdvancedMode”.

    Click it and then go to “Advanced mode”.

    We got to the first item of BIOS settings “Main”.

    Here we can observe the general information already familiar to us about our PC, changing the time / date settings, setting the language and password to enter the BIOS. Let’s say right away that if you do not have extensive knowledge in this area, we advise you to immediately return the BIOS to factory settings. To do this, just press F5 (load recommended settings). Then confirm your choice and press F10 (save and exit). Also confirming your choice. After that, the computer will restart and all settings will return to the factory state.

    Next, we will talk about the basic, SIMplest BIOS settings. On the first tab “Main” you can select the language you need:

    In order not to get confused in the future. For information on changing the settings from the keyboard, see the short instruction in the lower right corner:

    You can also change the settings with your mouse.

    Go ahead, on the first page you can set a password for the BIOS, then no one except you can get there.

    Going to the second tab:

    We get a very wide list of settings for setting up a computer. Here you can fine-tune the operation of the CPU, its overclocking, timing settings and the frequency of RAM operation, control of the phases of the CPU power supply, etc. I would like to note that it is better for a SIMple user not to touch anything here and leave everything by default, because without knowledge and experience at this point, it is better not to touch anything.

    In the next tab, we can see the following picture:

    Here you can also change some settings for the CPU, controller (SATA). Usb settings and also all built-in mat. Board controllers (sound, network, Bluetooth, SATA, IDE, USB, etc.)

    If you have installed any discrete device (for example, a sound card). We advise you to disable the built-in sound on the motherboard. Map. The same analogy with other devices (if you do not need the devices built into the motherboard specially)

    On the next tab, we can observe the monitoring of all devices carried out by the motherboard. These are temperatures, voltage, speed of coolers, etc. Here you can adjust the speed of the coolers and make the computer quieter.

    The penultimate tab of our BIOS displays the settings for flashing (setting a different BIOS version) of our motherboard, this function is called EZ Flash 2 Utility by ASUS.

    Also, in the “Boot” tab, various functions are disabled when the PC is booted and, of course, the boot order of devices. Here we can install the first boot from a hard drive, external device, network, or a classic HDD. Going down the list below, we see the list of devices installed on our PC from which the download can be carried out, by clicking on any of the devices, the computer will try to boot from it. Naturally, if this device does not have an operating system or the necessary software, then nothing will work.

    After changing the settings you need, do not forget to press the “F10” key and then confirm your choice, this will save all the settings you changed.

    This concludes our article, we tried to describe the SIMplest and most basic BIOS settings. Update Asus motherboard BIOS correctly

    And so, to begin with, we need to download the BIOS we need to the computer, and in our cases it will also be necessary to write it to the USB flash drive. Newer models of Asus motherboards can already be updated SIMply by downloading and running it, but about that in other articles. But in our case, you will have to use the built-in ASUS EZ Flash 2. And so let’s start on points.

    Download BIOS for ASUS P5K SE

    The model of the motherboard under consideration is already more than 10 years old, but among its users there is still a need to install software. Here is the asus.com website address for entering the official Internet resource of the company. Using it, open the “Service” menu and select “Support”.

    In the search field, enter the model in question. P5K SE. From the drop-down list of results, our option will be highlighted in bold. Click on it.

    You will be redirected to the product page. Here you need to select the tab “Drivers and Utilities”.

    Now specify your OS. We remind you that if you have Windows 7 and higher, drivers for them, except for the file with the update for the BIOS, which increases the number of supported processors and fixes various errors, and the list of compatible SSD-drives, you will not find anything else.

    The next item is to unzip the previously downloaded file with the update and write it to a USB flash drive. The USB flash drive must be formatted in the FAT32 file system and, apart from updating the BIOS, must contain nothing.

    Insert the flash drive with the firmware and reboot and enter the BIOS. On this motherboard, to enter the BIOS, when booting the PC, you must press the “Delete” button.

    Go to the “Tools” menu by pressing the button to the side.

    We select the item Asus EZ Flash 2, the built-in BIOS update program. Press Enter.

    We confirm the launch of the utility by pressing the ok button.

    Press the “Tab” button to select the desired disk and go to the folder with our firmware, and press Enter.

    It is important not to start the firmware if you are not sure that the electricity will not be lost or for some other reason the computer does not turn off.

    After that, a strip will pass and our BIOS on the Asus P5K.SE motherboard will be updated. Thank you all for your attention, ask questions below under the article.

    Main menu

    Like the original Phoenix Award BIOS 6.0, the version used on ASUS motherboards does not have a separate main menu screen. The main menu is located in a separate line at the top of the screen.

    After calling BIOS Setup, the Main menu item is activated (Fig. 1). The purpose of the options grouped in this section is as follows:

    Advanced

    A very busy section (Fig. 2). By accessing the options located here, you can:

    Power

    This section (Fig. 3) contains most of the options related to the advanced configuration and power management system:

    The Boot section (Fig. 4) contains options that determine the boot order:

    The last section. Exit (Fig. 5). Allows you to save the changes made and exit BIOS Setup, discard the changes made and exit the BIOS Setup, cancel the changes made or load the BIOS Setup parameters, which guarantee the normal operation of the computer hardware.

    Description of Award BIOS 6.0 settings on ASUS motherboards

    Although ASUS motherboards use BIOS based on Phoenix Award BIOS version 6.0, the Award BIOS 6.0 interface on ASUS products is noticeably upgraded compared to the original. Of course, this greatly SIMplified the navigation through BIOS Setup: now there are no cumbersome menus, and the arrangement of options is much more logical.

    Control

    In Award BIOS version 6.0, the following conventions are adopted on ASUS motherboards. The choice of this or that section (item of the main menu) is carried out with the cursor keys and. In this case, the options specific to this particular section will be highlighted. If all of them do not fit on the screen, a scroll bar will appear on the right. The choice of a specific option is made with the arrow keys and. If an option contains several values at once (say, date or time), you can navigate between individual fields using the key.

    Changing the value of an option. Keys and on the enhanced keyboard. If you want to see all the values available for this option, press: an additional submenu will open, in which you can select the appropriate option with the keys and.

    If there is a triangle symbol to the left of the option name, then when you select this option and press the key, you will be taken to the submenu (for example, Fig. 6 shows the Primary Master submenu of the Main section). Exit the submenu. Key.

    The key allows you to save the changes made and exit BIOS Setup at any time. If you are in the top-level menu, discard the changes made and exit BIOS Setup. In nested menus, as already mentioned, allows you to return one level up.

    Firmware, download, update (update) BIOS

    Many people are interested in the question of how to update the BIOS of their computer. In this article, we will show you how to update your motherboard BIOS. First of all, you need to understand what an update is. BIOS flashing is a serious step and you do not need to do this update without having to. With an unsuccessful upgrade, the consequences can be the most dire, up to the complete inoperability of the motherboard.

    A sudden power outage can also lead to such consequences. In order to prevent this from happening, it is recommended to use an uninterruptible power supply during update operations.

    Really justified and necessary reasons for updating. BIOS flashing are usually:

    1) with hardware upgrades, support for which was included in later BIOS versions (more information about BIOS versions here). For example, in some motherboards it is possible to change the processor to a newer (powerful) one manufactured using more advanced technologies.

    A) With appropriate support by the motherboard for such a replacement. For this, you first need to check the compatibility of a specific motherboard with a specific processor. This information is located on the website of the motherboard manufacturer in the “CPU Support List” section. In the same section, we can see what is the minimum BIOS version required to work with a specific processor.

    B) But there is one more important point, in addition to the BIOS version, we need to check the board revision (the version of the hardware modification of this board model).

    The revision is indicated on the board as follows: “Rev X.XX”, where X.XX are numbers, “PCB revision”, “PCB Revision”. “M / B Rev.” For example, ASUS has a revision printed under the board name in the middle of the board, Gigabyte has it in the corner of the board.

    That is, we may face a situation where a later revision of the board will support, for example, our specific modern processor, but the boards of the same model released first (earlier revision) do not. We will have a situation when boards in one model will have partially changed components. And naturally, such a difference cannot be eliminated by flashing the BIOS and by any other means.

    For example, from time to time you can come across a situation when all the leading manufacturers of motherboards (ASUS, Gigabyte, EliteGroup) describe (approve) some revisions of their motherboards by separate models, and release special separate BIOS firmware for them.

    2) according to the manufacturer’s recommendation, this is especially common in the newly released first revisions of boards to eliminate fixed errors in the BIOS program, expand functionality.

    Note: Flashing the BIOS using an official update from the manufacturer does not affect the motherboard warranty.

    Updating the BIOS in Windows Mode.

    Everything here is much SIMpler and clearer. To update the BIOS of the motherboard, you just need to download the file with the updated version of the BIOS firmware and the firmware itself for the Windows environment. Each manufacturer has its own utility. For ASUS, this is ASUSUpdate. It is installed like a regular program. When asked for the file type for the update, you need to specify “update from file” and select the previously downloaded BIOS file. Also ASUSUpdate can be updated directly from the Internet. In this case, the utility will automatically download the latest BIOS version and update.

    There are three main ways to update your motherboard BIOS:

    • In DOS mode,
    • In windows mode,
    • And using special utilities provided by motherboard manufacturers to flash BIOS from BIOS itself, without exiting to Windows or DOS.

    Updating the BIOS in DOS Mode.

    Before you start flashing the BIOS, you need to find out the manufacturer of your motherboard, its model and the exact version of the BIOS currently installed. After that, you need to download the firmware file with which you will update the BIOS of your motherboard. The best way to do this is on the motherboard manufacturer’s website. If the manufacturer supports several update methods, then you need to download the file intended for updating in DOS mode. Now you need to take a blank floppy disk, format it and make it bootable. The downloaded file must be placed on this floppy disk. On the manufacturer’s website, you can usually download the flasher itself. For example, awdflash.Exe. In the autoexec.Bat file, you will need to register this flasher and the path to the firmware file for it. It looks like this: awdflash.Exe newvBIOS.Bin / py. You can also specify the name of the file to save the current version of BIOS, in case of failure.

    The preparatory stage is completed, now you can go directly to the firmware. Set the BIOS to boot from a floppy disk and proceed with the update. You cannot turn off or restart your computer during the update.

    BIOS update without exiting to DOS or Windows.

    Such an update can be performed using the BIOS itself with the help of special utilities located in the ROM. Let’s take a look at this upgrade using ASRock Instant Flash utility from ASRock as an example. To access the Instant Flash utility, you need to press F6, during system testing, when you turn on the computer.

    Asrock Instant Flash will find all your storage media by itself where BIOS firmware can be stored. Over, the program will display only those firmware that are suitable for your specific motherboard. This is very convenient and eliminates the need for a long search for the desired firmware and random errors in selecting an incompatible BIOS update for the motherboard. The update itself is performed in one click.

    I will add that all operations related to updating the BIOS need to be performed only if you really need it. If you yourself cannot make such an update, then contact a specialist who will help you in this matter. Remember that inept actions can lead to failure of the motherboard.
