Updating the BIOS in DOS Mode.
Before you start flashing the BIOS, you need to find out the manufacturer of your motherboard, its model and the exact version of the BIOS currently installed. After that, you need to download the firmware file with which you will update the BIOS of your motherboard. The best way to do this is on the motherboard manufacturer’s website. If the manufacturer supports several update methods, then you need to download the file intended for updating in DOS mode. Now you need to take a blank floppy disk, format it and make it bootable. The downloaded file must be placed on this floppy disk. On the manufacturer’s website, you can usually download the flasher itself. For example, awdflash.Exe. In the autoexec.Bat file, you will need to register this flasher and the path to the firmware file for it. It looks like this: awdflash.Exe newvBIOS.Bin / py. You can also specify the name of the file to save the current version of BIOS, in case of failure.

BIOS update without exiting to DOS or Windows.
