In anticipation of the Google event, scheduled for October 15, on the web there were photos of a possible successor to the Google Pixelbook Chromebook. This device, codenamed Atlas, was shown in a video discovered by About Chromebooks and blogger Brandon Lall in the Chromium Bug Tracker database.
The focus of the upcoming Google event will, of course, be on the Pixel 4 family of smartphones. However, the company is also expected to introduce a number of devices, including the Google Pixelbook successor. This Chromebook came out in 2017, and apparently it’s time to release its successor.
According to unofficial data, the new product will be based on the eighth generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors. The amount of RAM chromebook is 16 GB, which is a rarity for most devices running Chrome OS. It is also unusual that the screen resolution of the Google Pixelbook 2 is 3840 × 2160 pixels, and the aspect ratio is 16: 9 (the predecessor has 3: 2).
