There will be four HEDT processors in the lineup. The flagship 18-core Core i9-10980XE model runs at frequencies from 3 GHz to 4.8 GHz, has a cache memory of 24.75 MB, and TDP – 165 W. However, the most interesting thing about it is the price. It is equal to only 979. Its charm is especially clear in contrast to the predecessor of the novelty, which cost 2000.
Other models, of course, are even cheaper. The most affordable processor Core i9-10900X received 10 cores, runs at frequencies from 3.7-4.7, has a slightly smaller amount of cache memory, and the rest of its characteristics are similar to the flagship model. The cost will be some 590.
The new Core-X processors also support DDR4-2933 MHz memory up to 256 GB and have more PCIe buses – 72. Of course, they use Turbo Boost Max 3.0 technology.
Processors should go on sale in November.
